I had a look at the car, and saw that the water was dripping from the gasket area itself. There is no way of telling whether the pump has failed in some way internally until it's taken off. Either way, the pump has to come off.

Its the big pully on the right of the engine when your looking under the bonnet. Underneath the bend in the top rad pipe.

Some peeps have an easier time than others. I've not done mine yet, it's another one of those things thats on the ever growing to-do list

I don't think the 2jz engine has intrusive valves anyway. So if the belt did snap, It would'nt damage the engine.

Having looked into this fairly recently, it appears that some J-specs have larger terminals, so the HCB005 will fit. Some however don't (like mine). If you have the connections with the smaller type, the battery will not fit unless you change them.

I think surj may have had his springs replaced with CW ones after the geo was done, hence why it may have been out on this occasion.

Surely, it won't matter which way round the wires go, as they are conventional bulbs, not LED's. I imagine they will work either way.

I accept this is a replica, but it certainly isn't cheap. If I'd have paid a couple of hundred for it, I probably wouldn't have even started the thread.

I'm not to sure about this bonding malarky. Is not drilling a hole through the bumper mount points, then securing with a nut and bolt not enough.?

The only thing I can think of is to bend the part of the wing inwards that the bumper fits onto. I just feels that I shouldn't have to start bending bits on the car to make it fit.

I don't know what you mean by fixing bracket. There are no brackets, just straight bumper to wing fixing points.

I used to have a HKS SSQV on my old one. I never minded the tweety pie sound though. I have a Bailey on my new one which sounds much more like a rally car ptsssshhhhh, rather than pheeeeeeep!!

I did that inadvertantly in my old supe. There used to be a meet in Crayford with all the local Nova boys. I pulled into the car park in order to get a McD's. I shit you not, every spotty burberry capped lanky streak of piss in the car park stopped and stared as the supra burbled past. TBH, I like attention normally, but these twats started following me out of the car park trying to get me to boot it, by driving 3mm from my rear bumper.

The cars now have fully rendered interior views. The crashes are now more realistic. The tracks are more varied and there are more of them. The Replay mode is now considerably better with adjustable camera views and effects. (There is a video editer mode for replays for the drift groups that are mad for it on youtube)
