  1. Whenever you want mate, do you want it this evening?
  2. It does say on the back of it that it can be used in type 2 or 3 too. I just want to be safe and sure about it.
  3. I'll meet you at bluewater if you like. Easy to get to and both of us know it.
  4. lol, you're only in kent I'm in Sidcup, you can come get it if you want
  5. 1006hp supe......................good luck with that !!!!! Need pics, and a price that you're paying for it.
  6. I've not bought them yet, but I plan to take the hoses off the car at take them up to halfords to get some that match. They have got stock of generic size hoses to choose from. The outside edge of the hoses that go to the cooler (one from the resevior, the other from the rack), at the points where they bend, I can see the rubber starting to crack. I've read on here that it's only the casing, and it's nothing to worry about. I would rather get them changed though.
  7. I'm about to replace some perished PS hoses on my supe and have this fluid in my garage from when I had my old auto supe G/box oil changed.
  8. Unless the car has deadlocks (which I think the supra doesn't), the interior handle will always override the locking system and opens the door latch mechanism. So you should always be able to open the door from the inside.
  9. Unless the motor was constantly pushing the lock closed due to an electrical fault.

  11. Sometimes I question whether it would be a good idea to only allow paid members to post in threads. It would discourage trolling like this as I doubt people would pay a years membership just to start a flame war.
  12. I would try and get the oil pump re tapped mate. I believe it's a huge job to replace the pump, so I would try a cheaper re-tap first, especially if there is nothing wrong with the pump itself. With regard to the crank pulley, look at it like this, at least you found the pulley problem out before it decided to jump ship of its own accord at 5000rpm . It looks like the original crank pulley anyway so could do with being changed. Once it's all back together, you'll get a nice feeling of smugness, safe in the knowledge that your new shiney crank pulley is good for many many years to come
  13. It will make your car less prone to spinning out (something which I've seen you do quite well )
  14. Just got home, but I'm not going to bed or else I won't get up until the early hours. I'll just fight through the day and pass out this evening.
  15. I took a young lad into police protection last night. I'm now waiting for social services to pull their finger out and re-home him. You'd think after the recent bad press that local authorities have had regarding duty of care over children, they'd be making more of an effort.
  16. Nope, don't work for myself........................and I'm STILL at work. I don't know how I'm still standing, even the copious amounts of coffee are starting to have little effect.
  17. I started work yesterday at 1000hrs. I'm still here at 0445hrs the following day.................... I can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel. Oh well, extra money towards my new wheels I suppose
  18. Cliff, give Derek a ring at Tech One in Sidcup on 020 8302 0600. Tell him I put you on to him, ask for a price to replace the water pump on your NA. get one price with a new pump from toyota, and another just for fitting. I would probably get onto Keron or Jezzybabes and get a low mileage second hand one from them.
  19. What's your budget out of interest?
  20. Right, get a list of names on here then, 2300hrs tonight. I'll host. Supras only. My gamertag is finelicker.

    questions

Blimey, thats a very open ended load of questions, and there is no definitive answer for any of them. I strongly suggest you search the forums as there is a wealth of information available to you.
  22. Have you checked the oil level in the box?
