  1. I aimed that at sams, it says he's in Linconshire. You're half right, yes the tread has to be under the arch, but the wheel cannot protrude more than 30mm, otherwise it's illegal.
  2. I was born in Northallerton. Not lived there for about 30 years. HTH
  3. If I was in your predicament, I'd get a backlit one. I think craigplates do them in the TVR section.
  4. Me too, I have this odd thing that looks like it could double as a can opener
  5. You won't get away with that in this country mate, unless you mod the arches. It is against the law to have wheels protruding from them.
  6. 6k for that interior, someone saw that fella coming a mile off.
  7. So are the files still existant on the old drive?
  8. ahhhh the XR owners club. I used to be a member of that years and years ago.
  9. Gymbob, I'd be careful if I were you mate, you've been warned before about trying to sell goods on here without paying membership. If a mod see's this, you stand a good chance of losing what precious little free posts you have left.
  10. That's all well and good mate, but riverside alloys are $$$.
  11. Fingers crossed for you mate. I don't think you'll have a problem with them carrying out or paying for the repair, your biggest problem from where I'm standing is WHO is carrying out the work. 12 months down the line, you don't want this to happen again.
  12. I believe that wheelmania wheel range are not all manufactured by the same original company. They are branded wheelmania rims, but they range from different suppliers. The vortex R's albeit easy on the eye are well known for poor laquer (more than likely down to them not being designed to work with our salty crap roads). The jade R's however are pretty good quality, and don't suffer the same issue as the vortex R's. The Monacos are also a better quality wheelmania rim as they have a stainless chrome rim.
  13. Having recently reverted back to a stock in my 6sp supe. The biting point for it seems very low. I see that there is an adjustable rod at the top of the pedal that I can adjust in order to lift the biting point, but my question is this, there is another adjustment mechanism that clearly adjusts pedal height, should I move this as well in order to give the pedal more travel?
  14. can you not just get some new 10mm interior diameter hose (proper stuff for holding PS fluid), and some new clips.?
  15. Just checked this fellas garage. He has pictures of three different supras, and an old heap mustang. It seems you have plenty of things to spend money on already!
  16. What exactly did you adjust? I don't think the idle speed control valve is adjustable, it just might need cleaning out, but I don't think you can adjust it. The throttle position sensor is adjustable, but you shouldn't ever have to touch it.
  17. Alloy wheel refurb placed can fill and rub down the offending part in such a way you'll never know it happened.
  18. Note If the brand of your device is not in the list, simply choose any other brand in the list.
  19. If it's the Rotas in your garage, they can be sorted no problem.
  20. http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/r/rc9800i_00/rc9800i_00_dfu_eng.pdf Page 21, learn and match function
  21. The RC9800I does have a learn function.
  22. I'm sure there are skylines that are quicker
  23. Took my dog to the vet, got told he may need to have one of his toes amputated Tried my luck with the wife and got promptly shunned. glanced at the supra on axle stands in my garage as I left for work and wondered when I'm ever going to get the time to sort it out
  24. Gold looks pretty good on silver. The Volk GTC's look pretty sweet. My car also had gold wheels when I bought it. I can't link to pictures due to being at work. But I'm going for a silver/black combo this time around, though the black section is shadow chrome, so more of a grey finish.
