  1. You just need a boost controller in there now then. May I also suggest you get a boost gauge so you can see what it's doing. Or even better, the AEM tru boost (which I have) is a boost gauge and controller in one
  2. They are stunning, I've saved this thread in my favourites for when I'm next due a present

£40 for a new gaiter fitted is a good price, I take it he's doing the tracking afterwards too?
  4. It is cheap for a reason me thinks. I don't get the big rev counter thing either, I think they look stupid, whats wrong with the stock one? (unless you've had the rev limit raised). If the seller can't be bothered to find a replacement wing mirror from a breakers, what else can't he be bothered with.
  5. Have you got a restrictor ring in there?
  6. Blimey, you've got 30bhp on me with 0.05 bar difference.
  7. You can check the timing easily enough by just taking the cover off and seeing if all the marks line up at TDC. I doubt you'll find anything though, as I'm sure a tooth out on the timing would make it run like crap. If you're still not reaching the desired boost level, (and I'd think you'd notice it of your were ) then we're back to there being a leak somewhere.
  8. Might be worth just getting a new heater control unti from a breaker on here. I know it's a bit of a cop out, but it'll almost guarantee a fix and shouldn't cost too much.
  9. So you live next door to your old man who also owns a supe, it must look like a mini meet everyday in your road
  10. whoops, that's what I meant by oil
  11. Was it the wrong type of ladder,? I'm sure someone on TV got £11000 for using the wrong ladder
  12. not heard of many problems with the autos, they are renowned for being pretty bullet proof. Have you checked the oil level? or changed the oil?
  13. Surely to get that figure, he's running higher boost than 1.2, yet he's on stock J-specs
  14. really? I thought they were about £800
  15. *Awaits wilkorangrovers response*
  16. Wow, my cars been off the road for about 4 months and I'm pulling my hair out. God knows how hard that must be for you.
  17. My money is on one of your VSV's. You should put it in TTC mode to eliminate them as a problem. Looking at your graphs, your rate of power increase is the same after the dip at 3750rpm. It should, be a steeper incline at this point when both turbos go full chat, but it's clearly not. You say the garage has stated that there are no leaks in the system, so your intercooler should be fine.
  18. Someone on here haggled with wheelmania over the price and got them with tyres for £1100.
  19. Them black ones in previous pics are over UK brakes, so I think that's confirmed.
  20. HRE wheels FTW!! They are major spondoolage though.
  21. Just looking around the net very quickly, have you had any issues with the oil sludge causing engine failure, or turbo failure.? Carsurvey.org has quite mixed reviews
  22. didn't look at the Saabs TBH, are they really that good.?
  23. The thing with the Lexus is, it's around the 2k mark, whereas most others are closer to 3. I suppose there is nothing wrong with going to have a look.
