  1. It'll be a nice feeling when you get back on the road again. Are you getting the fluids changed too? I'd recommend it as the cars been sitting for a while.
  2. Brake fluid is hygroscopic (sp), it absorbs moisture over time and changes colour. It gets darker, almost to the point where it looks black in the resevior. It should be easy to see the difference between the old and new stuff.
  3. Nice one mate, interested to see the end result
  4. I need to see one fitted. I'll pass judgement then. I've seen some seriously crap stick on dash kits though.
  5. Yup, you can kiss whatever expendable income you had goodbye. you may as well just set up a standing order to, whifbitz, knightracer, Nic the pimp etc etc
  6. The r34 is considerably more expensive than a supra, so I'd say that's out of the question. An NSX, albeit a fine piece of technology, it's still more expensive to buy, and not as easy to live with everyday, I'd even go as far to say that a BPU supra will beat an NSX. Bang for your buck, the supra is a serious player. However, the MR2 turbo post revision 3 models can be had for peanuts, and these cars are seriously underated. I've owned one, and been up against them in a supra, they never cease to amaze me at the speeds they can achieve. After 100 MPH the supra will walk all over it, under that speed though, the MR2 is quite a weapon.
  7. over 300 posts with no supe, good effort.
  8. Just sitting here bored, going through the FAQ's as you do, and saw that it's Dexron type 3 that goes into the PAS system. This afternoon I put type 2 in it. I don't know how I made the mistake as I checked ages ago. But I've been waiting so long for my new hoses that I forgot that it should be type 3. I've ran the car for about 25mins with it in. Is it possible that it may have caused any damage ?
  9. Not watched any of this stuff before, just watching the life NASA link from the OP now, is this shit live, if so.....................ITS AWESOME!!!
  10. Headlamp out?, at least his garish neons work
  11. Lol, I don't even own a video player anymore
  12. My old red one did this, new springs sorted it.
  13. As requested mate. http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/jaxdanjo/?action=view&current=Video025.flv This was my cars first run in months having just recieved my PS pipes. She started on the button with only a tiny tiny little puff of smoke out the back.
  14. In them pics, is it already stuck onto the panels, or is it like that out the box, all pre shaped like that? Me personally, I'm paying a little more than that and having my panels dipped using the WTP process. You'd be hard pushed to tell the difference between WTP and proper carbon.

  16. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php?option=com_rdautos&view=detail&id=45&Itemid=64 I can't quite make out what it says on the close up wheel shot.
  17. Looks nice and clean, can't say that kit is really to my taste, but good effort. What are those blobs on the sides of the tailgate.?
  18. Get a boost controller to have greater control over boost levels.
  19. Ahh yes, the laminated book of dreams
  20. Nice car mate Is the Faroe Islands where they do the mass pilot whale slaughter? If so, I hope you don't get involved in it.
  21. Lets hope the guy who quoted the price doesn't read that
  22. top effort. Some people resent spending money on their cars, and drive away from big repair bills with a bad taste in their mouths. I however, get a warm smugness that my car is now a little bit more mint than it was before
  23. Lol, top effort alex Edit, I think you may have given me an idea. What about the 'Hovis challenge thread'. Get your other half to pose with loafage, if you haven't got a partner, you may use random fitties . Only stipulation is that the picture must have loafage
