  1. Is it possible that you weren't reaching the right temperatures before you changed the thermostat, and now you have a nice new one in there, it's functioning properly. As has been said several times in this thread, we need to know specific temp figures to know for sure.
  2. What alarm system do you have? CAT 1 alarms have to immobilise the car with a minimum of 2 points. Usually, ignition and fuel. Sounds like it's allowing the fuel, but not the ignition. I would check the alarm out.
  3. I still haven't recieved my logbook having owned the car for a good few months now.
  4. My nick has just been "given" a new unmarked car with covert blues and twos Audi RS6.
  5. Check out whifbitz, they have a couple of doozy supras in your price range
  6. Spray the sides that lead down to the headlamps, leaving a center stripe of carbon where the vents are
  7. Dean buys supra......Dean spends obscene amount of money on Supra.......Dean sells stunning Supra.......... Quite an easy pattern to follow really
  8. Just fitted these this afternoon. Took this pic in daylight I'll take some more pics later. I have a feeling I may need to take the dimming sleeves off the needle bulbs to make them as bright as the dials.
  9. What an awesome job title "head of design and naval architecture" You're not short of a few pennies then
  10. If he's smart, and has a smart solicitor, he "should" be ok. I can see a decent defence for him in a mix of 'instant arming' and 'pre-emptive strike'. Though you are right, this shit shouldn't happen and it does anger me. The poor guy should get a medal. Reading the comments afterwards, it still isn't clear to the general public that it isn't the police that decide on charging, the decision making body is the CPS. Police are mearly the conduit to get them to court. Police don't really have any decision making priviledges anymore. Otherwise we could excersise some common sense, especially in cases like this.
  11. Is the arm fouling on something? Your AC might not be working as it's always on hot. When you press the Ac button, do the engine revs rise and fall with the AC cutting in? Find the motor that moves the arm to control the heater valve and see if it is fouling on something. When you push it back with a screw driver, does it move smoothly, or does it feel like its grinding on something? Clean and re grease the joints in the arm, it may be that it's getting stiff with age, and the resistance is causing it to cut off.
  12. Brushed is the new chrome me thinks
  13. Get some vids of it running, I want to hear the beast
  14. Wow, I've been sitting here for 10 minutes trying to think of something fitting to type............words escape me though. I'd need tissues if I saw this in the flesh. Bloody brilliant
  15. I had a vitually new 6 puck in my BPU when I bought it, first thing I did was change it for a stock item. I'm mechanically sympathetic to my cars, so no need for a heavy duty clutch.
  16. Maybe if Iwas still using my supe everyday, id consider the auto, but i wouldn't retro fit my 6sp to an auto. I'd have bought an auto to start with and saved some money
  17. Yeah, I know who was parked next to me. but the cars either side never moved all night. It was someone driving past it. All of two days later, I had her looking like this again
  18. I turned up and couldn't get a space in the car park, so I parked in the parking area to the left (amoungst loads of other supes). When I came back to the car at the end of the evening, I found it like this. Someone has clipped the front and not bothered stopping. Can't believe no one saw it either, the place was packed..... Hey ho, put it down to experience, I'll not be going back there.
  19. This is what happened to mine at Ace Cafe
  20. Where abouts in the country are you? Your profile says the US, but I doubt you're there as you have a UK car. If you're at all concerned, take it into somewhere like AFR or Whifbitz garage for a health check.
  21. Must admit, the Jade R's really do suit the supra.
  22. Subscribed, as I'd like to know this too.
  23. Thats quite a spec! You people amaze me at the amount of money you have
  24. Have you tried wiggling the connectors? It may just be a dry solder joint on the PCB.
