  1. The stuff I've read is that they still emit about twice as much light as Halogen. Albert assures me you can change the bulbs.
  2. Whoops, ordered my HIDS from knightracer today. they only had the 10000k left, so I went for that. Oh well, I've been told I can get some 4300k bulbs for the kit later ..................................................
  3. yeah, staying silver. But it'll be mint when Dave's had his way with it. As for the skirt blending, I need to sit down with Dave and discuss my options.
  4. I'm just putting the dash back in now. Then I'm waiting for a few more parts to arrive. I've ordered some new boot rubbers from Whifbitz which will hopefully be here soon. I've also ordered a HID kit from knightracer, to go in my new glass headlamps. While I'm waiting for them, I'll be changing the oil + filter and fuel filter. then it's going on a trailer to Southend for SUPRALOOPY to work his magic. Not sure how long it'll take him, possibly early September, she'll be out cruising the streets Thanks for all the kind comments fellas
  5. I believe they must be laquered, or they'd be buggered before they arrived at the door. My old Rota Slipstreams that I had on my S2000 were the same finish, and they were fine. Fingers crossed these'll be ok.
  6. I'm not sure how old your Honda times was ago, my Honda time was all of 6 months ago. Having been a member on the S2kI forums, the Rota wheels are the only ones that are considered to be the 'best choice' for the s2000. No one I know from the forums had any go 'pop', mine didn't go 'pop', and as far as I'm aware, this American dude who has them hasn't has his go 'pop'. *Shameless rota whoring*
  7. So you recommend BBS to everyone as you've a keen eye for quality, and wouldn't like to be driving a car with alloys that apparently go "pop". Yet you put Dai alloys on yours.?!? Your alloys are considerably cheaper than my rotas, so your argument of not buying cheap wheels smacks of hypocrisy
  8. Seriously dude, you shouldn't try to pull a splinter out of someone's eye, when you have a log in yours.
  9. Do you have any idea how much BBS LM's are?
  10. I'm not sure about weight in comparison to the BBS. But yes they are considerably cheaper, though they are not wheelmania cheap. I've had Rotas before, despite what the yanks say about them, I found the build quality to be brilliant.
  11. These are 275's on the rear, and they're still stretched. Do the GTR's run the 10" wheel?
  12. This is the best I can so at the moment for side on.
  13. I doubt it mate, they are +43 on the rear, so they are close to stock. There are people on here that run much more aggresive offsets than this without any problems.
  14. not yet, The car is still on stands, I'll get some up when it's down.
  15. Check out these bad boys nice offset and they clear UK brakes......just
  16. That is ingame mate, albeit photomode, so they do have heavy AA applied. Running at 60fps with fully modelled interiors is still mighty impressive. There aren't any decent videos of this at the moment, but here's one from E3 http://www.gamersyde.com/stream_forza_motorsport_3_showfloor_gameplay-11302_en.html You get the idea.
  17. Why would I have too? I never removed the needles. TBH, the speedo reading was never particularly accurate anyway. Speedo indicated 80mph, GPS would say 72mph.
  18. I've just been out and taken these two pics. Straight away I could see the needles were no where near bright enough. I quickly pulled out the 3 large bulbs and removed the green condom things...... Much better
  19. I love it when that happens, but I'm always worried about doing it to others. Lets say I see an Enzo in the garage forecourt, the most I'd say is "nice car mate". I'd have a horrible feeling that if I started asking him questions about it, I'd piss him off, or he'd think I'm some sad loser.
  20. These are speedhut custom dials from the states. They don't do specific auto ones, but you can use manual ones on an auto without problems. My old Auto TT had custom dials fitted, the only thing you lose is the gear indication. Which, TBH, if you don't know what gear you're in without the aid of a light, you probably shouldn't be driving a Supra Here are my old ones
