  1. Count me in, providing I don't have to sell a kidney to afford it.
  2. I haven't got an auto anymore so can't have a gander myself. but from memory, you should feel a two step effect in the accelerator, this is for the kick down. It sounds like yours isn't kicking down so may need to be tightened.
  3. SUPRALOOPY is in Southend, maybe a bit far but you could always send it. You'll also have to get in line for his services, I'm next
  4. I believe powder coating can be pretty much any colour you want.
  5. You're right mate, my bad. I just saw the replikit word and immediatly thought about the shed load of grief people have with their other products. The mirrors look I'd be interested in that if the price is right
  6. Mate, that's awesome. It looks like a very nice example. I can't get over how well the interior has aged. Apart from things like the steering wheel and digital dash, it looks much more recent.
  7. A bit off topic, but is the writing on those tyres standard, or have they been coloured with a tyre pen. I think coloured writing on tyres looks cool, not sure whether I'd get much credibility whitening my Falken 452's though
  8. I've not seen this ad before, and I don't think I've ever seen one as graphic. They need to show stuff like this more often. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8XdENS4Pko
  9. Past Present ----Work in progress--------
  10. If I can suggest one thing, your tailgate has been smoothed so the holes have been removed for the spoiler. I know it's not a major issue to make more holes, but the effort has been made to make it spoilerless, may as well keep it like that.
  11. If the engine light was coming on, I wouldn't be looking at the alarm system, I'd be thinking it was the inertia switch for the fuel pump. But because the EML light is not coming on, it makes me think it's something to do with the alarm. If it's like mine, the engine light doesn't come on until I de-immobilise the car with the alarm fob. But becasue yours is not doing it, I'm pretty sure it's the alarm. Good luck with it mate.
  12. It does look good, much better than other stick on kits.
  13. First , it sounds like your starter motor is wearing (probably where you've been trying to start it excessively recently with this problem). You're not the first to have starter issues on the supra, so don't worry to much about it, a new starter will cure the issue. What alram system do you have. If you have a model that has a key mechanism on the alarm unit itself, where you actually insert a key and turn it to disable it completely, then this is certainly worth a try. Failing that, find out where the 'brain' part of the alarm system is and basically disconnect it. See where you stand then. At least you know it's the fuel pump is not running for whatever reason, but the fuel pump itself works when fed a live, so it narrows it down alot.
  14. When you tried the AC, did you have the heater dial on cold setting? if you did. you're AC is not cutting in, which could unfortunately, mean a number of things. When the system runs out of gas, it simply stops the pump running. So it may mean that it's simply out of gas. With regard to your problem with the cutting out, I'm afraid I'd need to see the car in person to say any more. My dash is out at the moment so I'll have a quick butchers at the mechanism to see if I can make out what the problem could be.
  15. First issue - can you record the noise on a mobile and get it on here for us to listen? Second issue - When you press the manu button, does the light come on on the dash?' if it still lights up, It's not disconnected. If I've understood what you've said, it simply sounds like it's not kicking down into first properly when in auto mode. The throttle linkage probably needs adjusting to rectify this.
  16. From all accounts, the knight racer kits are pretty much plug and play. MattH watched Albert (knightracer bloke) fit his at japshow. He posted up about how easy it was, and it was one of the most beneficial mods he's done (and he's done a lot)
  17. Are you getting any petrol smell after trying to start it?
  18. This is about your best option I can find in your budget mate. http://garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage-ask.tpl&product_id=7309&category_id=1994&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53 It's a convetional plate clutch so should be well behaved in traffic. It's also rated for about 500lb of torque, so you should be ok with your single. Best thing though is it comes from Whifbitz, so you have the credibility of Paul behind it.
  19. I found this thread mate, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=180116&highlight=light+flashing Someone mentions about 6 posts down about the exact problem. No EML light and not starting. I know you say you've checked the fuses, but check the ignition one again.
  20. Is it in the rad, or just out in the open?
  21. A low level abflug would look nice on that http://www.envyperformance.com/images/products//sm_2162.jpg
  22. Holy crap dude, I'm happy for you that it's dropped, but that is still a ridiculous amount of money for insurance.
  23. Can you take some pics of the kit before you fit it mate. Cheers.
  24. Nah sod it, I carry my get out of jail free card everywhere anyway
