  1. Dude, look into it a bit more than that mate, here is a little gadget that should help you understand offsets a bit better. http://www.morfed.net/wheel-offset-calculator/ Look around this site at other members cars and find some wheels you like the look of, then ask what the offsets and widths are. Then you use the above link to compare offsets of other wheels you like. Wheel width has a bearing on where the outer rim will sit, a 8.5" width wheel with +35 offset wheel, will not sit the same as a +35 11" wheel.
  2. Lol, mines never driven at all of late. However, when I get her back, she won't ever be tracked or raced
  3. Yup, I also read yours I take it you've still not had any issues yet?
  4. Rotas are a budget wheel as mentioned above, in comparison to the big forged wheel companies. However, they are leagues better than wolfrace, wheelmania, TSW, vito, etc etc
  5. I don't want to thread hijack, but regarding the caliper distance from the wheel, seems loads of people on here run with minute clearances with no issues. I was about to start my own thread asking people what their clearance is as it started to worry me a bit, plus, I really don't want to be running spacers. And I stumbled across this. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=161551
  6. Crap, I better get some spacers then ** runs off to the whifbitz shop **
  7. How does that work then, I didn't think the caliper assembly moved independantly of the wheel? I only say, because my UK brakes are incredibly close to my new Rotas on the inner face of the wheel.
  8. Thats not shadow chrome, that's just gloss black, very nice though.
  9. Hmm, I remember looking at the SSR professors before. I really really like them , just a tad out of my league though
  10. Shadow chrome FTW. I can't believe the calipers fit on there, there simply doesn't look like there's enough space between the rim and the disc
  11. Wow dude, thats very low at the front, I thought mine was low
  12. When you have the clutch replaced, the release bearing comes as part of the kits. however, the ticking, if it is the release bearing, I wouldn't be too worries about it. They'll do that for years and years, I'd just wait until you need a clutch and do it then.
  13. One more to show how massive those 355's are on the back Credit goes to T66dawg from supraforums, owner of the baddest TRD I've seen. Hodge, you need to 1up this man, show the yanks how its done
  14. Nooo, I think the D2's will look awesome against the white car, especially if he had some purple on the interior, or a purple tow eye . ** goes off to find some suitable wheels for TRD kit **
  15. I said this way back when I had my first supe, if someone made a copy of the TRD bumper that fitted stock wings, they'd be onto a winner for sure.
  16. 99 spec lights?, I didn't realise they were still being made in 99. Looks like a nice example though.
  17. My mate lives in your road and I've only now managed to work out it's your car, I've been past it about 100 times and always rubberneck at it's magnificence. When I get my supe back from SUPRALOOPY, I'll come and say hello
  18. 114 x 5 is the stud pattern, not the offset. I've re read the advert and it makes no mention of offset for clearance. My car is with Supraloopy at the mo so I can't measure my UK calipers, but at a guess, I'd say the Uk's are actually wider.
  19. Cheers mate, I think they might actually be slimmer than the big UKs. That brake disc is mahoosive
