I don't think there's a need to feel sorry for people who love their cars. I have a small family, a house to run, bills to pay, and I'm scraping the bottom of the barrell at the end of every month. Sure I'd be better off financially without a supra, but I get huge enjoyment out of owning one, some people drink,some do drugs, some gamble, I have a supra, and I love it. Pity me if you want, you only live once, and you're not here very long. You should enjoy it as much as you can while you're young enough to appreciate it. Disclaimer - This is not to suggest that my supra gets put before my family. I'd sell it tomorrow in a heartbeat if I really really had too.

It's a very nice looking car, and is no doubt worth more to you than you can get. I sold my old supra (now mark newmans car) and I regret it to this day. I've now got another supra, but I miss my old red one, I've spent an obcsene amount of money on my new one to get it even close to the standard of my old one. Your one is clearly a very special car and a one off at that. If I were you, I'd do everything I could to keep it.

I dont think they do an auto TVR either What about something like a new shape mustang? providing she's ok with a left hooker (you get used to them very quickly) You'd get a nice one for 25 large.

Saw this today stuck in traffic in the pouring rain, I would have acknowledged you, but I was on the R6 going the other way getting soaked.

I went to the Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios (sp) a couple of years ago. The Jamaicans I met were all very very nice people. It takes some time to wind down to their speed of doing things though, expect to wait a while at bars for drinks, they do everything very very slowly, there is no sence of urgency anywhere on the island. The only thing that let it down for me (and I apologise if this offends anyone) was the yanks. They were very loud, obnoxious, rude, and generally all fat. They have no concept of waiting in line, and walk around like the whole world owes them a favour. I got into a heated argument in a restaurant with one who que jumped about 20 people waiting to get in, the beer got the better of me and I gave him both barrells in front of everyone.

I've never seen a set of refurbed lights in the flesh that were perfect. I don't mind being proved wrong though.

I never said prevent it, I said only way to truly sort the problem is to buy new lights. You can refurb all you want, but they'll never look as nice as a new set.
