  1. I might be way off here, but have you got a boost controller installed? Also, do you have a boost gauge? The restrictor ring is not a hard and fast rule, different cars boost differently due to loads of varying factors. Just because you have a RR in, doesn't mean thats what the boost is. You were probably leaning out due to overboosting
  2. What do the boys in the Bimmer clubs make of this ?
  3. Awesome work I bet that raises a few eyebrows when you put your foot down
  4. There are people here that run that offset without any issues. But if your car is lowered, or you plan on lowering it in the future, you might want to budget for rolling the arches.
  5. you're looking forward to it? I've already walked around the house 20 times today looking for something to do to pass the time
  6. the 5x114 is the stud pattern (supra fitment is 5x114) The ET number is the offset, the lower the number, the further they'll stick out of the arch. et 35 on the rears with a 9.5 inch rim will be right at the edge.

I quite like them, and nearly bought one once, then I read up on them a little and decided against it.
  8. Then you're gonna love this one. http://www.gamersyde.com/stream_assassin_s_creed_2_tgs09_trailer-13047_en.html
  9. Go easy on it matey, I passed my DAC 2 years ago and jumped straight onto an R6. Still scares the living shit out of me every day
  10. Here's a better pic of mine now the suspension has settled. If I went with a more aggressive offset, I'd have to fettle the arches with how low the car is.
  11. Nope, that's fine the way it is Dave. the front was way too low before, there was only a few mm in clearance when the wheels were on full lock before, now it should be fine. I'll get the whole geo setup done once this has been finished, and I'll get the car corner balanced. If the rear needs to come up, then I'll do it then. But I quite like the stance as it is now
  12. Front looks fine mate. I've attacked the driveway and lowered the gradient of the slope. It'll be close, but should be fine *goes back to staring at pics*
  13. They seem to have toned down the realism of the cars physics.?!? You used to be able to control power oversteer with delicate balance of the throttle and steering. Now, you have to handbrake it into a slide, then the tiniest bit of counter steer puts the car straight again. (this is with ALL assists off). It seems there is still traction control active even when it's off. Where is the driver animation when you change gear ? Why the hell is the clutch button on the left bumper button?!?!. You can't brake and change down at the same time!! Why do the cars struggle so much to get up the hills? There is NO sense of speed in the cockpit view. 130mph looks more like 30mph. Why can't you look left and right in the cockpit?, it jumps to an external view!. The whole interior is modelled as I've seen it in photomode!! constant 60fps? my ass!. Cockpit view has some framerate issues when you have all others cars on screen. Pants, what a let down
  14. Ok, My new wheels are 19x10 on the rear with a 43 offset. here is a pic Using that morfed tool, comparing my current wheel to your proposed 9.5 with a 40 offset means your outer edge retracts by 3mm (it sits in 3mm more than mine). It's up to you whether you go down the spacer route. But it's been commented on loads, and the general consensus is that you should really just buy the right size wheel from the off. Spacers are not recommended. Edit - as for the tyres, I was told I could have had a 265 profile rear on mine, but I went for the 275 as I thought it would give me an element of protection for the rim. But look at the pic, the rear tyre is still stretched, so god knows how stretched a 265 would be.
  15. TBH, after hearing about recent goings on at AFR, they have a budget single kit in the works which will initially be set up to run with the stock fuelling system. It should see you BPU levels easy, and seems a much more appealing venture than hybrids. The real beauty of this setup is you can upgrade components as you wish, so you later get and ECU, then injectors, etc etc . which will ultimately end up being a big BHP single supra. It seems a much more sound route to take than the hybrids.
  16. The stock offset is 50, and I've been told it's best to get as close to this as possible. Offset is not a hard and fast rule, the wheel width has a say in where the wheel will sit obviously. Have a go with this little doodad and see what I mean. http://www.morfed.net/wheel-offset-calculator/
  17. Awesome!! I take it painting is soon then ? I can't wait to see it!
  18. Nice colour I take it your fast and furious project is underway?
  19. Wow, 10 cars eh?, mini meets at yours then
  20. I can't believe how quiet that is JP, considering whats under the hood. What pipe was on it when you did the recent tunnell blat?
  21. Can we wait until he's finished before we start suggesting he charges more.
  22. If I can make it, I'll defo be busting out the video camera for it, so make sure you all wear nice clothes and have your hair done I'll make you famous !!
