  1. IMO (and that's all this is), the skirts and spats aren't aggressive enough for that spoiler alone, I think you'll need some blended overfenders to make the car wider to suit. The top secret front is already very low, putting a splitter on it as well as lowering the car will be interesting. What wheels are you going for?
  2. I've been watching this thread with interest from the start simply to try and gain knowledge , however I felt I had to comment when Ken busted out them pics.....O...M...G. Both cars are stunners, absolutely brilliant, you clearly have an eye for good taste modifying I think you should post them up in the multimedia section though for everyone to see. I doubt a lot of members on here will still be reading this thread, and it'd be a shame for them to miss out
  3. My condolences buddy, thoughts are with you, keep strong mate
  4. I put a soldering iron onto the screw heads to melt the lock tight that they are screwed in with, then they came out easily. You could try the same with your stumps.
  5. Good luck with it mate, what's the rest of the kit going on then?. If the kit is as lairy as the spoiler then it should work.
  6. Sell the UK supra, buy a smaller practical car for her, then get a cheaper import supra
  7. Tailgating, chatting on mobiles, doing 60 in the outside lane of the motorway, pulling out without looking, leaving a huge gap between the car in front in traffic jams, especially on motorways where loads of cars lane swap into the gap that the idiots left ................thats about it for now.
  8. Sod that, I've seen one of these with a cossie lump in. It was an absolute weapon, I'd be trying to keep it 100% Ford if it were me.
  9. That's because the external front mounted oil coolers would get in the way. I think they got the idea to start with from no1-BR.
  10. How close was that guys foot to the rear tyre at times?
  11. Out of interest seeing as it's slightly on topic, will a short shift kit include, or substitute the bushes on the existing shifter?, my shift feels slightly spongy and thought about replacing the bushes with the aluminium solid items. But if a short shift kit will work, then I'd go for that. Also, while dude is in here too, how much to fit the bushes/short shift kit?
  12. When was the last time you had the g/box oil changed? could be down to viscosity of the oil when cold?
  13. Are you leaving traction control on on them launches..?
  14. Local authority have garages everywhere mate, don't rule them out. They own loads of garages, even where most older council houses have been bought by the owners. I know a few ex council places round my way are now top of the food chain when it comes to areas to live.....Pretty much all of the SE3 Blackheath postcode is ex council, yet even a lottery winner couldn't afford it.
  15. Maybe slightly different on an NA, but the TT backfires when the TPS is buggered or badly adjusted.
  16. When you come off the throttle when the cars warmed up, do you hear popping, like backfiring?

    Got Smeg?

I've got a cheapo Beko. The thing does two full loads a day without any issues. Been going strong for two years now. Best house mod eva
  18. Is it a trick, have you actually bought a lexus ?..................... ISF FTW
  19. Your local authority/council will have a list of council owned en-block garages that your can rent. SE London prices are about £500 per year. I also found a website recently for rented off road parking where you could put a postcode in to find spaces in your area, but most were vacant driveways for commuters. Edit - or you could do what I did and have one built
  20. I can't see the vid as I'm at work, but there's a vid on streetfire of them killing an early 90's vette. The engine was sweet to start with and it took an age to die. Quite sad to watch TBH. I can't believe this is the most efficient way to do things.
  21. You say you've looked underneath and not seen any cats. The first cat is right below the turbos so you'll not really see it from underneath. Double check the first cat is not still fitted.
  22. Did you not want to keep the end caps carbon for the TRD? It's taking shape nicely though, not sure on the lip spoiler. I can't tell from the pics whether I like it or not. Some pics from further away would help me decide.
  23. Are you talking about a password for your home network, or a password for your router?
  24. I concur with the above. My old supe was an auto, and I used it as an everyday car. It was a stock TT (not anymore though now Mark Newmans had his way with it ) and it was a beautiful drive. Stress free cruiser with the required perfomance when needed. I now have a 6sp BPU, the BPU 6sp is a much more hardcore car, and would no doubt do nothing but annoy the pants off me in stop start traffic. However this one is a weekend toy, so it's perfectly fit for purpose. It's a much more involved drive than the auto, but I'd not enjoy it as an everyday car. The 6sp box has quite close ratios, so I find you shift a fair bit more than you would a normal family saloon. If you use your car everyday and do a fair bit of stop start traffic, stick with the auto. If the supra is not your main form of transport, and you want a manual for a more involved drive, go for it.
