  1. Is there anyone else coming in from the kent area who's going to Dorking?
  2. I'll be trying to get to dorking for 11am
  3. I've got the HSD's on mine. I haven't had the teins to compare, but I can state the ride is sublime, not crashy at all. It feels smoother than my old stock suspension on my first supra (though that would probably mean the shocks were knackered ). It's improved the handling of the car no end. I've had the GEO setup on them and the 19's its rolling on do not present any issues. You'll read loads of comments on here saying that 19's are a big no no, you'll ruin the handling and it'll tramline. Well, that may be the case on a stock suspension setup, but the 19's on mine have no detrimental effect at all. No tramlining, no skittishness, no scary moments whatsoever.
  4. I think it's to do with the germans taking over Ukraine in WW2.
  5. I've seen this happen, the guy I sold my old supra to brought it back to me a week after selling it saying his dials weren't working (it's where I took the live from). Turns out he plugged the sat nav in too hard as above. The cig lighter is probably the shoddiest bit of the supra.
  6. Awesome, glad you reposted it as I missed the first time The apocalyptica music goes perfectly with it.
  7. Well I think the poor guy is learning the hard way. Good luck with it buddy
  8. Yup, that was me Wooohoooo!! I love being spotted.
  9. Adnan, sorry to see this mate. I'll try to be as constructive as possible for you. Full turbo refurbs from places like turbo dynamics are about £500 - £600. However, CRTurbos are considerably cheaper and I've heard good things about them. They could probably refurb it for £300 - £500. You need to weigh this up against just buying another T4 flange turbo and wacking it on. You can get turbos brand new for that money, though they won't be top spec brand ones. Your call buddy.
  10. Unsubscribed...................
  11. Loads of cat back exhausts available matey. Check http://www.whifbitz.co.uk
  12. The cig lighter is attached to the dimmer though, which is not what he wants.
  13. Ok, next then, I'll change the PCV valve and see if it has any effect on the smoking. Though, I've driven her several times since starting this thread, and I've not managed to ger her to do it again.
  14. Well, I fit the criteria -silver supra + nice wheels- I like to contribute.
  15. Ahhh, I see, so it may be leaking straight into the hot exhaust and not in through the intake?
  16. The original horns are in front of the radiator. Are the wires still there. If they are, check for a feed on one of the wirse when the ignition is on and the horn is pressed. If you find the feed, wire the horn up to here. Sounds like some billy bodger has had their hands on your supe in the past.
  17. Nic, you need to change your forum name to Rainman Your memory for stuff like this is unbelievable.
  18. Here are a couple of pics of the inside of the pipes. No oil whatsoever! So does that mean my turbo seals are ok?
  19. Very nice, that tow bar on the back ain't messing around is it:blink:
  20. It is pretty smart, though you wouldn't want the police finding it after a little spirited driving.
  21. Worst nightmare. I've had something similar, but not as bad as that. I saw my old FTO out and about while it was supposed to be getting serviced so I followed it. I saw the technician get out and buy 3 bags of chips, then get back in and drive back to the garage. To be fair, he drove fine the whole time (mind you, FTO's are hardly sports cars ). I told the service manager and he got my car fully valeted for free as a result.
  22. I'm being serious, I'm apologising if my actions have caused offence to anyone. I only wanted to put a bit of light hearted spin on it.
  23. I don't think I've mentioned laughing at this video, my story was the funny bit Yes you're right,I was wrong to do what I did and I apologise for something I did 13 years ago. In my defence, it was outside an auction in Deptford, so my victim was more than likely a criminal anyway, so my actions were probably gods will exacting some "what goes around, comes around" EDIT - ......and if it snows this year, I promise not to throw snowballs at anyone.......................as they might get wet................and the snowball may have come from the gutter area which could cause nasty stains.
