  1. New trailer for the film. Looks to be a day one blue ray purchase http://movies.apple.com/movies/fox/avatar/avatar-tlrf_1080p.mov
  2. I'm saying it the surface rust makes it look like it's been sitting at the bottom of the ocean for 50 years
  3. Lol, some of those before pics reminded me of the Titanic
  4. Hopefully, though production doesn't start officially until December 2010, and even then there'll only be 500
  5. You need to change your name to Face now http://www.ateamonline.net/photos/-A-Team-Group-Photos/Face_001.jpg Question is, did you go for the Targa or the hard top? There's a guy that lives in the same road as Trig who has on old black C4 sitting on his drive with the rear end on axle stands. It looks like it's been there like that for years. A mate of mine and I were talking about going over to him and asking if he wants us to take it off his hands. Is Supraloopy getting hold of this one like your other car?
  6. That's not entirely true, the tread pattern of the tyre has to be within the wheel arch, not the rim. So in effect, you are allowed to have the wheel rim protruding from the wheel arch as long as the tyre is stretched enough so that the tread is within the arch line. Other than that, they look turd.
  7. I know that feeling, sold my old red auto to a member, who subsequently sold it to another member, who then sold it to Mark Newman who is its current keeper. At least I still get to see her I suppose.
  8. My car is stuck in the garage. The alley I have to drive down to get her out is a bog.
  9. People talking about offsets without taking into consideration wheel width is futile. Wheel width has an effect on what offset you can run. I did loads of research into this before buying my wheels. I found this tool to be most helpful http://www.morfed.net/wheel-offset-calculator/ Basically, put what offset and widths you have now, then put the new wheels dimensions in the lower part and it'll show you and tell you how much of a difference it'll be.
  10. If so, its nothing to do with the controls. Its a hugely common fault on fiestas, Ka's and pumas (all the same chassis). It's the heater control valve. Its piss easy to replace and takes about 10 minutes. The valve is located on the front of the bulkhead at the top in the center. you'll see two coolant hoses running into it. Undo the hoses from both sides and remove the multiplug. Pull the old unit out and replace, job done........I knew that apprenticeship at ford would pay off Here is the valve http://www.fordpartsuk.com/images/1454023.jpg Even better, heres an over the top 'how to guide with pics' http://www.khantazi.org/Archives/Ford_Ka_Heater_Valve_Repair/ValveRepair.html
  11. Is it not blowing hot air by any chance?
  12. Can't we just say "both consoles have their own strengths and weaknesses, the differing strengths will appeal to different gamers, therefore, we will always have the difference of opinion". Now lock the thread!!!
  13. By far the worse seller? Where did you read that? As far as I'm aware, the PS3 has only outsold the 360 in Japan. In every other region, the 360 install base is much much bigger.
  14. Good effort mate My ford probe used to do....................oh wait, no, I don't know what I'm saying, ignore me
  15. Tech one in Sidcup?, you must have spoken to Derek then? He's a top bloke who I've used on my last 5 cars. He phoned me the other day asking for the part numbers for the coil pack clips, I guess he must have been talking about your car. I put him onto Whifbitz as Paul keeps them in stock. Mines going in there again soon for some work. He's very honest when it comes to pricing and totally reasonable. I've heard the VVTI is a bit of a bitch when it comes to error codes. They're not the same as non VVTI. I can't confirm whether code 42 is the same.
  16. I've heard that they're quite crude. They'll sit in the middle of the gauge giving the impression of a steady temperature when it's not the case.
