  1. Bob B has a J-spec which has been 98% converted to a UK spec. it has the engine, brakes, silly headlamp washers.....everything. The only thing I could see that gives it away was the speedo.
  2. Anyone else noticed what the latest update did? I did a double take the first time I noticed the animation of the drivers hand leave the steering wheel when changing gear and using the handbrake
  3. The plot is already given away in the trailers. If the film had some serious plot twist that made it memoriable, a la Sixth Sense, then I'd agree. however, Avatar, is just pochahontas (sp) with a much bigger budget and special effects That doesn't mean to say I'm not looking forward to it. I'm massively hyped to see it after watching the latest trailer.
  4. Nice to see and hear about good garages around. Enjoy your BPU supra buddy, go easy with her in dodgy conditions though. You'll soon realise how turd the stock TC system is
  5. Many of you will have had the same conversion my car had when I bought it, with the right hand reverse light being converted into a fog light with a painted red bulb. Problem is, this bulb lasts all of 5 minutes before becoming worse than useless and emitting white light, failing any potential MOT test. So, I bought one of these...... http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/u38220r-ultra-high-power-single-wide-angle-p-1326.html http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/images/u38220r.jpg not only is this thing mega bright, it doesn't show a red blob behind the clear lense of your reverse light. I've heard that some LED bulbs of this nature that people have bought don't fit through the hole in the cluster, well here's the proof that this one fits fine. OFF Now see it turned on, notice how bright it is compared to the normal red driving lights. Shouldn't have any problems passing an MOT now.
  6. Nope, my mate SABERSIMON did it.
  7. Mmwwwahahaha..........you're probably right
  8. Right, the new tune setup is ready for Tuesday, heres a glimpse of the newly fettled beast.
  9. No mate, my PS3 was fine. On a late night film session, you could hear the noise of the fan. My Standalone player is silent. I don't know where the xbox comes into it as it's not a blu ray player
  10. I think the picture of the wheel being chopped deserves to be used as one of them "fail" pictures. Shocking
  11. That Road America straight isn't short, it's just that the car despatches it in seconds. What an awesome machine. It really is a case of 'They don't build em like they used to'
  12. I think we should stick with the A class supras, but change it up so every other race uses a new stock car chosen by the winner.
  13. I'll not go into it through fear of offending Thorin the fanboy , but the short answer is, I like buying multi region films and have no use for the games aspect of the PS3.
  14. I bought the sony BD 550s (at least I think thats what its called) The ps3 is a bit noisey with the fan constantly running when watching films (but is you have your home cinema loud enough you'll not notice). I have a two year old son so can rarely use my home cinema to its potential. My stand alone player is much quieter, cost £250, though it's probably cheaper now, and is multi region. Get it from Richer sounds and you'll get a multi region one.
  15. If he's changed the rotor arm, it must be an NA.
  16. I can't get on that early, the wife usually gives up the TV at about 10.
  17. Mate, that was a legendary bit of driving. Once I nudged m5w TT (Mike) out the way, I though I was home free, but you gave me a hard time up to the final straight. Just reminded me about the corner where you and mike piled into the armco due to following my crappy race line......I totally forgot about that corner
  18. I said he was using AWD!!!! I like the idea of second place choosing different cars. Come to think of it, has anyone played the races on GTA4. That would be a hoot with all of us in the room. You can set different race types, so sometimes it's just start in a car, get from one point to another in any way possible, but there are other race types where ordered checkpoints are dotted around the level, you don't start in a car and you have to steal one, then leg it to the first checkpoint.
  19. Lol, You can adjust the view if you use the interior view (hardcore like me) by going into multi screen settings then changing the angle to 70%, it puts the seat position back a bit so you can see the rear view mirror better. WSB pressured me into locking my brakes on the final corner on one of the Sebring laps, I didn't realise until it was to late and no amount of cadence braking would bring it back, I hit the wall doing over 100, the fact I finished the race at all was a miracle I'm going to fine tune the Surpa when I get in tonight. I'm being left for dead in the corners due to lack of downforce, but the flip side is on the straights I can generate a fair bit of speed. On the Laguna Seca track, I'm convinced Nevins forgot which button was the brake and decided to use my rear end instead into the first corner, then there's Maple valley, where I had the worst luck and rolled the bloody car twice!! I look forward to the next round!!
  20. Having trouble joining session
  21. Yup, please add finelicker. A class supras eh? I'll give you all a chance, no assists ( abs or traction, no stc, manual and in car view )
  22. Lol, no way, The car keys are hidden and the garage is locked, I keep the key
