  4. Well played Dan. Glad to see you got it sorted.
  5. Dumb ass mustang owners.............oh wait.
  6. Chris, have you ever had a poke around a C6 vette. They're getting very close to my price range and would really appreciate your opinion.
  7. Spotted in the lower car park.
  8. If I get down there tonight, it'll only be for a bit as I have to be up for the BDC licensing day at Silverstone tomorrow morning.
  9. A fairly common, but cheap fix problem is the radiator cap. After standing for a while, it may well have dried out and be unable to hold pressure. This allows the water to evaporate past it and run dry. It's worth a go for the sake of a couple of quid. Seen it loads before on supras.
  10. Whoops, brain fart there. See you nextweek then.
  11. Blimey Chris, I had no idea you were making a V8 supra. I don't profess to know anything about the work needed, but if you need an extra pair of hands..............or someone to make tea, give me a shout dude Oh, and welcome to the V8 club....we might not be as fast, but we sing a nicer song
  12. Can't make tonight as I'm working The mustang is going through some more changes too, waiting for the custom tuner to arrive along with CAI, clear indicators and some other toys......should be running around 370bhp soon
  13. Mate, they are solid. Stuck to the front of a snowboard, they don't go anywhere. (This was recorded with your very camera ) I've seen them stuck on the side of red bull air race planes, so an impreza will not trouble it
  14. Drift bear PM'd me about 3 minutes before you Marc, if he doesn't want it, it's yours.
  15. I have a GoPro HD hero kit for sale, it's virtually new, only used it once, but I'm selling due to the Hero 2 being released. The kit comes with everything you need as shown here. http://gopro.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/683x426_MotoMain.jpg £130 plus delivery. Or collection from Sidcup, SE London
  16. Top effort matey, got to admire your dedication.......I'd have just bought a 6sp to start with
  17. IIRC, the tip box is the same as the standard auto box, but with added control over gear selection.
  18. Here are a couple of pics I took today on my phone in the daylight to show it better.
  19. Yup, got them last month with the tribar badge. Being close to the ground, it'll get battered by stones etc etc. Spraying myself means I can repair it myself much cheaper. I saw another one in the states with a matt front lip, and though it made it stand out, like an additional splitter, rather than part of the bumper. Cheers mate.
  20. Picked up my Cervini front lip which I bought from the states the other day. So today, a friend and I fitted it. The front lip is an FRP plastic which requires spraying prior to fitment. Not being fussed about colour coding the lip, I decided I'd do it matt black myself, seeing as it'll probably need touching up a few times in its life, this makes repairs much easier and less costly. So, to start, it was a trial fitment. Have to say, this is the best fitting bit af after market body kit I've ever had. A very slight tension in the part means it holds itself on perfectly. All the pre drilled holes line up with the stock stuff too, making fitment very very easy. Then came the prep. Rubbed the part down with a fine grit pad to key the surface, following a clean with the surface cleaner wipes, along with tack pads. We also fashioned hanging the lip from the garage roof using speaker wire and bungie cords Then came 4 coats of plastic primer, another key with 600 grit paper, and the spraying begins. Because it was so darn cold, we hurried the process with my wifes hair dryer (god forbid she finds out). 6 coats in all and shes all done, I've not got any good pics of it fitted yet as it got a dark, they'll come later. For now these'll do.
  21. You've got your phone set to auto rotate so it records in the format to fill the screen the way it's being held. It can be fixed, but the end result will look odd if you force it to fill the screen. The image will look stretched. If you have a widescreen monitor, just turn it sideways to watch it...........HTH
  22. Wow, fantastic video skills. Whoever knocked that 3d stuff up did an awesome job. Car is a stunner too. Very nice.
