  1. I just went to close my boot and the drivers side hinge snapped. ideally looking for a pair as the passenger one took a twist when the other snapped, they arent available on amayama. I have the cheap aftermarket ali express boot struts fitted so I wonder if they have been putting a bit of stress on the hinges
  2. great choice! i'm a big fan of these
  3. cheers guys, i'll look into that plan instead
  4. Mine is dead so I'm on the hunt for a (known working) compressor complete with the pulley I have a GTE if they are different? let me know what you have and how much you want for it, cheers
  5. https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/5890814020c0 here's the part number if it helps, i ordered one the other day
  6. i fitted my bonnet and boot struts today. The bonnet was a 5 minute job and the only awkward part of the boot set was holding the interior trim away while i got to the nuts on the back of the bracket. I think i spent longer trying to find 4 matching M6 bolts in the van than i spent fitting them lol. It would of been nice if they had been supplied with the kit really
  7. I went too far the first time and could barely close it, mine bent really easily
  8. I gave my struts a tweak and the boot stays up now! result
  9. I scrolled down looking for a review of the carbon struts but now it looks like I'll just be bending my existing struts tomorrow haha
  10. Keron on here might be able to supply you with a full kit of parts? Other then that I'd probably keep an eye on the sales forum on here as most of the time you don't know a gearbox has problems unti it's fitted, so you'd hopefully have a little piece of mind by buying it from a memeber instead of an ebay randomer
  11. If you are staying non turbo, I'd just get the w58. It's what comes in the manual SZ anyway. I brought one with all the bits for a conversion with a lsd for a soarer I converted a few years back for £1000 but I'm guessing they've gone up a bit since!
  12. My supra used to get a vague front end at higher speeds. Tramlines in the slow lane were pretty sketchy! I polybushed the front suspension arms, upper and lower, and the steering rack and it fixed it 100%
  13. You'll hate yourself if you go from an evo to a n/a
