  3. Hi Si. ive not answered a thread like this before so im 27 and have red n/a manual and white tt manual.
  4. i know that and i recon a good tt manual will still cost you £10,000ish and that isnt exactly cheap
  5. Why dont you all set up a price guide on here and agree to stick to it, there for maybe keeping the prices up a little. Organise a point system or something. Then when anyone sells they got something to reference to.
  6. we will see, i still got my n/a at moment as well so name can stay for now
  7. I only paid £4000 for my n/a and it came with 18s and vielside front bumper, it was a bargain
  8. Thinking of selling my tt 6 speed manual on a m plate, any idea what i should be asking for? Its white with 17ins alloys, hks superdrager exhaust, trd front strutbrace, apexi super air flow converter, boost gauge, turbo timer, greddy boost controler, hks mushroom air filter, hks dump valve, electric folding mirrors but only o/s seems to be working. Its got a years mot and 6 months tax. I hope the prices havent droped to much, I want to go for a face lift model. approx 58000 miles
  9. Speak to martin at mk4 store that where i got mine
  10. I thought my n/a was very fast. then i bought the tt and now the n/a feels really slow, it will never be the same. But my n/a will stll do most other cars.
  11. Ive got both a n/a and a manual tt. The n/a is brilliant on fuel and a full tank can easily last me 2 weeks but the tt drinks it, a full tank might last a week and i drive them both the same, fast and hard.
  12. Ive had a n/a for a few months and it was my first rear wheel drive car. i am used to it now and its great fun. A few weeks ago i bought a 6 speed tt and what a difference, its so trigger happy and in the wet its just sheere dangerous. Im sure i will get used to it but if youve never had real wheel drive i would start off with stock power. They can be a lot to handle at first, and not being that cheap you dont want to rap it around a lamp post
  13. Buy it standard. Ive bought cars in the past that have been modified and its a real bitch to find out whats been done to them. it may hamper future mods that you wish to perform. It may cost you more but its worth it. And when you build that awsome car you can stand proud and say it was all you and explain every detail.
  14. Had to adjust my tien. The ride was awfull, it was just jumping accross the road every time it hit a pothole and i couldnt clear any speed humps, you should see the damage to my vielside front bumper. Its not good. Only took be ten minutes to adjust but its handling much better now and my back has stopped hurting from the shock.
  15. Ive got these on my n/a and the handling is awsome they easily out do my mate in his skyline hes so jealous of them. But they are a bit harsh on the road, you can feel every bump, but you get used to it.
  16. ONE OF MY BONNET CATCH IS BUSTED NEED REPLACEMENT ANYONE SCRAPPING A CAR AND HAS ONE LYING AROUND PLEASE DROP ME A LINE. Thanks Jim
