ok thanks im at work till 11am then im going straight to garage so ill try update you when i get there

yes the butterfly opens and closers when pressing on the accelerator. The loom / engine / maf senors are all matching. The engine and loom and ecu came together. The problem is after tonight - when starting up start first time its just like it wants to stall it self. after checking boost pipes / throttle butterfly / and making sure eall wireing loom is plugged in - it stil lwants to die - its like its misfiring and cuts out. After is starts if you press the accelerator - its dies but some times if you on and off the accelerator quickly it will start to rev up but sounds very lumpy - like its missing firing. Tonight the garage got it going for about 10mins... revving up aswell... but didnt sound right at all... its was back firing and smoke was coming from the exhaust. also the cat started to glow red - which if im correct indicates over fueling ? The over fueling can be the only thing i can think of now as its seems like its not to sure what it wants more air and less fuel or more air and less fuel. To be hoenst i'm running out of idea's as i keep searching and searching what it could be / thoerys behind if its doing this then this must not be right etc etc ... i really dont know.

yeh local garage have not done a vvti b4 seems to be thats the problem they done supras not vvti new oil has been put in

local garage are doing the install and nope was not a vvti befor

update ive got a maf from deby ive put it on the car now just started car and it took a bit of time to start but still the car wont rev any ideas please would a leak cause this not to rev ,ecu not reset ect ect ive not put air con rad back on car should i put this back on ? any help or advice needed please

found one and also found company with loads of supra bits engine parts wise nippon

has some one got a vvti engine shot please (also need photo of top right hand side ) i want to check ive put al lthe bits together right

Hi guys, Im wondering if any of you guys can tell me the differance between the following, this is important other wise my self my car wont be able to go to rotterdam. Brought a vvti engine as i blew mine up - we have had a couple of problems just simple because i had a 1994 twin turbo engine in before and there is a few bits different, i.e ignitor pack - didnt think there would be a differance. Well engine is all in, went to start it tonight and basically starts but just in a limp mode - doesnt want to go and do any thing - rev up at all. So after abit of double checking a few things my mate notice a plug was hanging there un plugged ( which after abit of calling round we found out it was to do with the air flow ) So now in need of a VVTI MAF. Does any one know whether there is any differance in the lexus gs 300 vvti ? there is one currently on ebay and the only differance i've found is the part numbers....... But as the Supra VVTI is the same as the Aristo VVTI - i was just wonder whether any one new about the lexus gs 300 as i know we can use some parts off the lexus due to there the same as supra ? or in general lexus gs 300 maf will do the trick ? ive brought a vvti engine and its got no vvti mass air flow car starts but wont rev up and then dies as its got no mass air flow is any one selling one from a supra or aristo vvti any help needed please

hi all ive brought a vvti engine but it has come with no air mass flow so dont look like im going in my car now unless anyone knows where i can get one (ive posted in tech bit)

would a aristo vvti be the same as supra

just brought a vvti engine and its now been put in the supra gone to start it tonight and car starts but wont rev and cuts out phoned keron and he has said have i got a air flow mass garage have checked and i have not got a vvti air flow mass UPDATED brought a maf today from derby and now this is in place car starts but wont rev up (engine keeps wanting to die every few mins ) any ideas

my supra engine is in car now ready to be run tonight but garage have found my radiator is leaking water so i need one asap or i wont be going rotterdam

see i want to run mine in just hope it done tomora as get nervous now
