  1. Ask anyone in the trade, Corsa exhausts are a complete ~*@%$£" If they can't get it right ask them to use another make, like Bosal as I imagine it's a Timex. An normal sort of garage would use a OEM part only due to the normal hassle them. Hope you get it sorted.
  2. How do yo hear a viscous fan setup "kick in"??
  3. Go to your MOT testing station, ask them to put your car details into their database, and that will tell them wether it requires the stricter cat test or not. All depends on wether VOSA has the correct engine data for the import MK4, as they can't use the UK data, as the import has no EGR. If you need the stricter test, then either cat should do, but it's easier to change the bigger one (rear)
  4. Cambelt as seems to be turning over too quick OR Crankposition sensor (which are common to fail, but don't normally make it cut out)
  5. You need to put a Supra 2JZ sump on it. The Aristo 2JZ has a sump at the front of the engine, where the Supra 2JZ has a rear/off center sump.
  6. Yeh, aristo lump, as above plus the sump is different also
  7. You have the wrong forum mate, most on here won't know what a 7M-GE is let alone what car it came from try http://www.mkiiisupra.net/bbs
  8. Very similar http://nomad.liquidweb.com/~need4spe/ebay/ruffracing/278/278chrome.jpg From HERE
  9. Try putting the red and white leads into the bottom red and white sockets, I know the ones above it say output, I think the bottom ones are input.
  10. Think you'll find the Supra has the Aristo engine
  11. Yeah, they need a Jaguar adaptor, should be in the car somewhere.
  12. You are correct. It was statement, pointing out the facts. Sorry, I'll post unfactual comments in future. Pic of Aerotop http://www.suprasonic.co.uk/supra/supra1.JPG
  13. There were no UK Aero tops, so it'll either be a a euro spec left hooker or jap import. And Yep, it'll be a MKIII
  14. Mine aswell, remember the jap spec doesn't have an EGR system, and hence will emit more emissions. Unless the MOT stations have the specific data, they have to perform a non-cat test.
  15. UK spec, it won't pass. Jap spec, if the engine isn't listed in the MOT database, then it will have a pre-cat test carried out, which means you don't need to have any cat's in place. The Aristo isn't listed and only needs the pre-cat emissions test, thus how I know. And applies to all vehicles HTH (just ask the MOT tester if he has the jap spec 2jz-gte listed)
