  1. Thats crazy... take it quickly before they change their mind!
  2. ^^^ Well thats even better then. I watched Rich (bodyshop guy) do mine and tbh if it was me I wouldn't have even been interested in the job. The amount of time it took and the fiddling around just doesn't seem to make it worth it! Niz, send them to suprattgaz and pay him £80...please!
  3. That was the first year ('07) and Modball stays away from Germany now A few of my friends went in '07 and had no trouble with the police and had a great time. So much so that they're booking it this year too. The police won't bother you unless you're driving like a t**t
  4. No he asked the bodyshop guy that I used to do mine how much it would be to do his and he didn't like the quote (£90), which I think is reasonable considering the amount of time it takes (4-5 hours per pair)
  5. Ahh right, it might have been a good idea to post the offers you recieved via PM in here so that people such as myself could make a higher offer? nevermind
  6. Scratch my previous post Chris has just made me pay for it now Looking forward to it already!
  7. I paid for the first Modball '07 but a fried gearbox made sure I didn't even make it to the start line I'm doing the '09 Modball, will be booking it next week
  8. I am also 23 with 5 years no claims and I'm insured with Sky for £800 FC. Remember everyones quote will be different depending on postcodes etc
  9. Yes it is its also a serious one for all the non believers
  10. Ok so I went through Hecklers procedure for bleeding the system 3 times and the noise is still there I then took the aux belt off to see if there was any play in any of the pullys. There wasn't. I then span each pully one by one to listen for grinding noises (to indicate failed bearings) and the only one that made a noise was the tensioner pully. So, at this moment in time I'm thinking its the aux belt tensioner that has had its day
  11. ahhh, that helps Thanks I'll have to try that after work tomorrow and report back!
  12. I took the top off the PAS resovoir, locked it to the left....waited a couple of seconds, locked it to the right...waited a couple of seconds and then repeated a few times. Didn't see any air bubbles coming from the res. Is that the correct way to do it? I'm sure I read on here thats how to do it ?
  13. Ok so I've bled the system and checked that the level is correct, but I still have the noise I need to be certain its the PAS pump before changing it, but theres nowhere round here that I would trust looking at the car Is there anything else it could possibly be before I decide to buy a new pump?
  14. I didn't mean southerners in general martin, you're safe I meant Charlotte But we've kissed and made up now so its all good
  15. hmmm ok cheers Heckler, I'll take a look at the level. I usually check all fluid levels every other week (apart from oil and coolant which are checked before every start up) and haven't noticed it dropping. The fluid was changed last year by myself and haven't had a problem up until now.
  16. I don't have aircon...I pulled that out of the way when the FMIC went on
  17. I didn't really want it to be that Did I? ok, so why does it make that noise? How much roughly is a new one? Are you sure its the PAS pump?
  18. Take a look at the video and give me your opinion on what the really annoying 'whine' noise is. I think its related to one of the pullys because as the revs go up so does the volume of the noise. I sprayed a bit of WD-40 on the aux belt tensioner pully because I thought it was the bearing inside there. It didn't work and now its become very annoying. Almost as annoying as my whining girlfriend
  19. love the reason for editing. I think its reasonably priced, but I bet at this time of year he could be knocked down a few hundred Come on Paul stop being a tight arse and get it bought!
  20. I charge no fee Mine is going into storage for the winter so it would give me something to wash/look after
  21. Its at a very good price now imo. Too cheap maybe? Leave it at mine if you're leaving the country, I'll sell it for you
