Also for Sale on Ebay but will remove if offered the right money MkIV Toyota Supra 4.0lt V8..... Unique.... only one of it's kind in the UK and not many around the whole world! Selling complete with K50PRA = K "SUPRA" number plate. click here for larger images... http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/images/supra_v8_1.jpg http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/images/supra_v8_2.jpg http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/images/supra_v8_3.jpg http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/images/supra_v8_4.jpg Originally this car was a 1995 M reg MkIV Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 3.0lt 2JZ-GTE Automatic GZ Aerotop. Here it is when I first purchased the car in 1999. The car has been expertly converted by THOR Racing to run a 4.0lt V8 engine, the Lexus 1UZ-FE engine. It is now also a manual 5spd using the R154 gearbox. Here are the conversion details from our website. This car has had a 7 page feature in Japanese Performance magazine and has been seen at many shows throughout the UK, demonstration the V8 conversion. The time has come to sell the car to make way for the companies next demo car. Paintwork is to be expected from a 12yr old car. It has stone chips and a few scuff marks but generally is in good condition. The THOR Racing livery can be removed if required or left to give you that racing look. It certainly gets peoples attention when they hear the V8 engine rev up. Lexus Deep Dish 18" alloys (O.K. condition, no perfect) Brand new tyres, Dunlop Sport 9000. Only done about 1000 miles. I still have the active spoiler mechanism etc if you want to put this back on. (Took it off when the car was turboed with FMIC) All leather interior is perfect, no cuts. Carpets are good with no holes and dash and interior is undamaged. REMEMBER THIS IS ALSO AN *** AEROTOP *** The car also has been fitted with stainless steel speedo dials. The power output is 300BHP and 300ft/lb of torque. Not as fast as the original 2JZ-GTE turbo engine but torque is great and sounds even better. The V8 is much lighter than the original engine and sits back further so handling is improved. Please email the company with any questions to [email protected] or telephone me at work on 01676 535888. I will not entertain tyre kickers or people just wanting a drive. This is a serious conversion which took us months to get perfect and as factory fitted as possible. I will not accept ridiculous offers. I know what it's worth to the company and to me personally, I will miss her.!!!! Thanks Pete

  16. ****ONLY**** the VFCC (FCD) product had any issue. The VFCC is NOT combined with any other product. For those in the know.... the manufacturer used a Quad analogue switch gate rather than a quad NAND gate. A few digits out on the chip part number but a world apart in operation. The DSC+TSD (speedo converters and top speed delimiters) NEVER had any faults. PLEASE NOTE: Before you blame the VFCC for not working make sure the VFCC is set to Fuel Cut = 8 Overboost = B on the dials inside. The new units are not pre-configured for the Supra and are left unset as they are used in other model cars now. Also DSC+TSD make sure the dial is set to 8 inside. This is 0% error correction. 0->7 is +10% ->0% 9->F is 0->-10% So it can calibrate for speedo inaccuracies due to different rolling radius wheels etc. Regards Pete
  17. Nod says, "My ears are still ringing I can't hear you". Jesus wept, she must be generating about a eleventy million dB. Nod.
  18. The power output achieved by this car is directly proportional to the quality of the chocolate biscuits that are brought on collection day Nod.
  19. Not unless Paul or Darrens makes a cameo in the backdrop shots. I think the back end of Mr Simpkins's car is going to be in a few frames. Nod.
  20. Oh! Sorry about the last week. First 3 days we were filming with 5th Gear so in order to stop the phone screwing up the pieces to camera it was put on silent and answered when we got the chance/spotted it shaking. Peter then had a family holdiay until today and he deals with mail order /returns and such like so things have got a bit behind on this front. He's back now so hopefully the back log will clear. There is no problem with returning TSD/SC's as we have only got about 10 left in stock so any coming back would be helpful if you don't need them (I don't see those 10 lasting the week as they sell like hot cakes world wide), all we ask is you cover the postage costs other wise we will be out of pocket for reasons beyond our control which I don't see as being unreasonable. We have been busy setting up the engine building and fabrication departments which have had their first transplantee's arrive by name of a 1UZ, 2UZ and 3UZ Lexus V8 engines ready for some Supra shoe horn Shenanigans. We have also had to clear a backlog of 15 cars that have been awaiting parts from other suppliers (Except Darren's monster who's first in line come Monday morning for a bit of Link action) but we have got this down to 5 over the last week working flat bollock knacker. The main reason we miss calls and e-mail's is the fact the phone rings constantly from 9:30am till 7:00pm and we have over 100 e-mails a day that Peter deligates around each of us based on area of expertise which is why some of you may have thought it odd to receive a reply from me time stamped at 1am or later even on Sunday's from time to time. Hopefully normal service will resume from Monday. Nod.
  21. CFX do the carbon door cards, but be prepared to open a vein. http://www.carbonfibrefx.com Looks like the UK arm has disappeared ? Nod.
  22. I use the TechEdge as it has 3 x 5V TTL logging, 3 X K-Type Thermocouple logging channels and an RPM channel (as well as the obvious 5V Linear wide band output) and reads from 8.0 to 45.0 AFR. It also has a serial RS232 packet output so I wrote a program to talk to my Palm Pilot via IrDA.. The DynoPack has the MoTec unit built into it. Nod.
  23. I'm a little pissed off you suggest we have laid any claim to mapping you car. We have told people it has been on our facility by way of Motec and it made various HP and defended the figures against people who said it was claimed at being higher by reminding them it was only running one stage of NOS as it would MAX our dyno out. Why I fucking bother is a mystery to me after reading what you really think of us. Nod.
  24. There quite a few missing from that list : "The gas bill is how F***ing much?" - Adolf Hitler "What F***ing log?" - Donald Campbell "Can anyone else smell F***ing petrol?" - Captain of the Challenger "What the F*** was that? " - Captain of the Titanic "F***ing Feet don't fail me now!" - Chief saftey engineer, Chernobyl "What's with the F***ing ice pick?" - Leon Trotsky "Well that was money well F***ing spent" - Colin Pillenger "Is it just me or is it getting a bit F***ing nippy ?" Captain Oats "How much F***ing horse power at the flywheel?" - Jake Nod.
