The basic service was excellent. I'm just not sure about anything above and beyond though they have completely rebuilt a supra which looked awesome. I'm sorry but the Juries still out for me and I'm taking mine to MKIV suprastore in thornbury, Bristol for some work as they focus completely on Supras. Gareth, the match doesn't start until 7 pm on Sunday so you could spend most of the day in Bristol. (no excuse man) I'm looking forward to the hiding you've promised me! Another day goes by and things are improving..... Karl, I thought of you many times today. Your strength is infectious and makes me realise how fragile life is. I really hope I meet you soon as well as Steve, Emma and the family... All of you are a credit to mankind.

Just read this thread and feel so sad. My thoughts are with Karls family and steve and all his close friends. I also feel for the driver because no matter how rash you are you always think it'll never happen to you and I bet there have been times that he wishes he could change places with Karl. I am saddened by the last few messages and hope that the moderators will delete them before the next batch of printouts. Any of these ideas are born from us all sat at computers feeling helpless and wishing we could do something, but currently we have to play the waiting game. Steve, we can't thank you enough for relaying the situation and next time you see Emma, give her a big hug from us. I have only met one person who has posted on this thread but I am proud to be a member of such a close and warm community and hope, as we all do, that Karl will get a little stronger day by day. Courage mon braves!

I called them yeah but I didn't order them on the web until tonite. needed to check size. Hope you didn't nick the last set as they only had 1 20mm left and weren't sure about the 15mm. I asked for the 20's if they haven't got 15's so the car should drive like Charlie Chaplin used to walk! Good to see we both ended up at the cheapest deal though. Demon Tweeks wanted another tenner on top, but then if you have got the last one I may have to pay it. Doh!

Sorry Lee, thanks for the offer but tonight I stacked 5 sets of 3 coins on the hub and tried the wheel. No go. I've bitten the bullet and ordered 15mm as I need at least 10 mm clearance. Thanks very much though for the offer of help... Appreciated

I think you are intending to go to Lucifers a week Sunday... if so, is there any chance you could bring them with you and we could sort out a deal on the day if they do the business?

I have a set of stock wheels I am removing tomorrow which are in excellent clean condition complete with centres. The rears are totally unmarked and the fronts have kerb grazing to the rims but nothing more than 1mm deep and only a couple on the drivers side with the other being the worse with marks around the rim of about 20 %. These are shallow maks though and unless you have eagle eyes you can't notice this from 3 foot away. The problem is (or good news) is that I have relatively new F1's on the fronts ( I need to recoup some of the £500 spend on the tyres so will listen to any offers prior to me hitting the ebay trail. If all else fails I'll swap them back at a later date and wear out the tyres and then sell them for the usual. Any interest???

After a couple of weeks of gradual lumpiness and the occasional missfire my beloved settled down on 5 cyclinders. I was thinking valve, injector, even turbo problem and getting myself in a right tither. Having read a suggestion on an earlier thread..." the sparkplugs can tell a story) I removed the cover and immediately found that the little bolt holding down the second sparkplug had sheered off and the lead had disengaged. Now this car had recently been in for a service so I was rather surprised that the top of the bolt was not present in the bay, which, considering this is sealed, can only mean one thing to me. It won't be long before it vibrates off again so I need to get me an 'easyout' to remove the rest of it and a replacement bolt. Then methinks I need to write a little note to the 'japanese performance car specialists' asking them to return the bolt head! These are the same guys who failed to remove the cam belt pulley bolt and suggested I give them 500 squid labour to drop the gear box so they could hold it still (auto). Thanks to Marksupra's tool and a scaffold bar there was no probelm undoing it. I don't think I'm allowed to name the firm, but if anyone is intending to take their car to Penarth in Cardiff for any work... call me first! Thanks for letting me rant, and thanks for the help and advice I have received so far. I reckon you guys have saved me at least £600 so far!

uhhh, what! oh yes.... Did I miss something.. was there a meet??? What's happening guys... I feel like the Cardiff meet was a first date and coz no-one gotta shag they ain't comin back! Surely we can just be friends I'm off the Martins (Aka Lucifer) on the 1st to get my RTC fitted then I'm intending to meet up with him again the following Sunday for the fun day. Anyone else from South Wales going then? fancy a convoy? (Wear what you like, there'll only be the two of us!!!) As there has been such inactivity on the second meet I've had to go to the Abergavenny bus station and remove the reserved signs from the carpark. C'mon Boyz... Make some NOISE

Not sure who the car club organisers are, but are we booked in??? I'm definately going to this and think the Welsh boys at least should back Tobes to the hilt. BTW. I hope you all realise this clashes with the Abergavenny Party in the Park and as Chico is headlining there is likely to be a very poor turnout at Chepstow!
