  1. Screw type oil cap. Brand new in box. (I needed non screw type, DOH!) start the bidding
  2. Have you got the dash switch unit for the auto front spoiler?
  3. Give all your mates a key before your speech. Towards the end of your speech just make an statement that now you are married if anyone has a key to her home (or chastity belt depending on the audience!) kindly bring it up to the top table. Better still , get them not to move then repeat it with a bit more threat. It's hilarious to see the rest of the reception looking amazed when they all come up. I was best man once and set up the bride by getting all the girls to come up and hand 'em in. (Gave me a great chance to chat to them )
  4. I used brake fluid... that shifted it!
  5. How about sharing the 'off topic' with MK111 and MKV but keep the rest seperate. Second thoughts, let the rich buggers join the Nissan 350Z and Audi Titties club. It's getting to a stage where you can't tell them apart... Sorry I meant to say can't BE BOTHERED to tell them apart!

    New Girl!

Hi and welcome ... I'm not really interested in photo's of you or the car but the Hovis.... When you find your camera, can you just slip the packaging down a bit and expose some crust...... oooooohhh!
  7. Not wishing to hijack the thread I too have a missing /missfire problem at the moment and was wondering about a coilpack issue. MMMmmmm homer.... tell me more about coil pack resistance tests before I waste a shedload of dosh and change all mine. (PS I have a VVTI and assume these are slightly different from the norm.
  8. Nope, he told me when he delivers BP petrol he takes it to BP garages and Sainsbury's so it must be the same.. Don't forget that BP stands for BIG PRICE so they probably can't reduce their price for fear of trades description act!!!
  9. I have just filled up with V-Power and also think the car is idling better. Interestingly, I popped into a Tesco Garage in Ebbw Vale and found they don't have any super unleaded and was speaking to the petrol tanker guy and he told me that all Sainsbury Garages in Wales and the Southwest actually use BP ultimate in their super pumps though it is badged as Sainsbury super unleaded. After paying 1.03 a litre for V Power I will be interested to get to Sainsbury's in Cwmbran on the next fill up to compare prices and performance.
  10. I totally agree... mine have no yellowing at all and they look crap compared to glass ones... |(Obviously the advert won't say that when I go to sell 'em!) It's amazing that the Japs chose them in the first place as there is a major difference in quality.
  11. Well Actuuuuaaaally I have original facelifts on my '99 supe but would prefer glass facelifts. I can then sell my plastic facelifts to help fund them.... What I'm hearing though is the only way to do this is to buy galss ones and immediately refurb to facelift style. Can the seal be broken and the glass lens swapped for the plastic ones so that I keep the body of the light but just swap the lens. I could then reseal the spares and flog them on only they won't be facelift obviously.
  12. and... So are you saying that Jazz1 paid £400 for plastic.... surely not...
  13. Am I missing something here... where does it say they are not facelift, in which case they could be a bargain.
  14. MMmmmm Virginal white and so fresh. Nice and tight is she CJ?
  15. I'm don't want it not but my boyfriend might...
  16. How much is it going for without the keyring?
  17. Not at all my friend. As always you came across as a true gentleman.
  18. I had the same issue and changed mine as soon as I got it. The new one came with a sticker... date mileage etc. which I duly completed and when I went to stick it somehere in the engine bay I found an identical one which sadly was uncompleted. It did confirm however that there was a strong liklihood that it had been changed previously though God knows when. So... check the engine bay for a sticker... who knows there may even be a date written on it.
  19. I've just checked and noted it was only a couple of hours ago. First repost I've done... I feel a right twat! Missed the 1200 hp link and apart from searching on posts for supra or ebay ( and the ebay reference was spely e-bay to f*ck that up) I can't really see how you can guarantee not to repost without being online all the time.... Ahh theres an idea... Think I'll pull a sicky for tomorrow
  20. Sorry Geordiesteve. I only checked through the fisrt couple of pages!
  21. Check this car out on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1998-Toyota-Supra-Turbo-6spd-1200hp-Only-8600-USD_W0QQitemZ110027256202QQihZ001QQcategoryZ4150QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I reckon we should all put in a 100 squid and liberate it from the USA. We could each go and drive it for a day a year...... waddayou think?

    Welsh Motor Show....

TBH mate it's identical to being banned from driving coz you don't 'drive' the other cars, you just move them from place to place. I'll give her a big kiss on her return... and who knows.... might just pop a dab of vaseline on the exhaust and take her up the wrong'un. Yeah... It'll be good to get my bitch back!

    Welsh Motor Show....

'bout 3 days, 4 hours if you really put your foot down! Thats what it feels like anyway. I wouldn't worry about changing anything on your car. It looks absolutely mint and a different nose wouldn't change that. Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I guess you will change it in the end. Have you ever considered a full frontal despoiling? You'd surely be the first!

    Welsh Motor Show....

Ahh that'll be the Newport guys on the forum who came to the last meet in Cardiff bay then..... errr the one you couldn't get to..... We left just before you then.... like you say, very chavvy. I will also add Very expensive, Poorly organised, (church fete would do a better job) and the choice of the presenter basically says it all. He would have appealed to those wannabees who were in the majority. If the fuel girls had set themselves on fire it would have only been a tad more enjoyable. But hey! Great company Gareth, Mike and Mr Traffic Light. and as a result it was still a great day, methinks JAE next year though?

    Welsh Motor Show....

Thanks to all the guys for their company and genuine sympathy about the car problem. The supes in the piccies looked great save for some tosser parking a bloody big shopping trolley in the middle. Good news - the car's engine rebuild is finished and it is currently undertaking a 200 mile inital run-in before I have it back. Martin (MKIVSTORE) reckons it is sounding reaeaealy sweet:cool: Hope to have it back on Thursday... So apologies again for being a tosser with the parking... See you very soon. September meet perhaps?
