  1. I went for the option of undoing the nose on that side and pulling it away from the car. Then again, I have got a stock bumper Easy access then except the bloody lead from the bulb aint long enough for you to put it in with out the nose back in place
  2. I did mine on Sunday, and they have taken years off the car. It just makes it look cleaner. I guess it's the fact that you are lulled into clear = modern sublinguilly. If I thought the first was a bitch to change, imagine my horror when I got to the passenger side where the washer bottle and coolers were. Mind you, as I didn't have a ring spanner that small, I ended up trying to do it with a medium sized adjustable spanner! I'll sort out a piccy soon For sale, 2 orange ones!
  3. wanna borrow my carbing and polish it then take some photos and send it back. I'll pay the postage for a free shineup ;-)
  4. UNtil I took mine out I never noticed the facew is angled (to prevent reflection). Now my afr guage is in there without the angled face it's just reflecting the drivers side windows. Hence I may have to put my clock back. errr. sorry I don't have one for sale but think of this as a free bump
  5. MMM camel... such a nice smoke. Roasted tobacco don't you know, like Marlboro. Much better than the common bensons and embassy which are sun dried. It seems crazy to me that these companies can't advertise their ciggys but Branson can advertise a virgin. What's the world coming to
  6. All the best mate, keep the rest up and wait a while before you get back on the fags. If you need a bit of light fun on the weekend, you can always watch JamieP's Missus on x factor (aaam from dagenum mate!) Hope you didn't pinch too much NHS electric charging that bloody phone
  7. You sure you need the wiring mate. I know when I went down your road (replacing my clock with the AEM AFR) the connector just got left in the back and the clips left in the back of the dash. (Haven't got one for sale though sorry!)
  8. Hang on a minute.... Can you pull a cracker in an Indian restaurant? All sounds good to me. I shall dress accordingly http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:nixrHM_cq-2QAM:http://www.lynchs.com/images/4153.jpg
  9. Thanks Paul, I have mine as well. I wonder if these would also fit the rear sidelights as well with a red bulb in or is it a different fit?
  10. Next time save yourself a the comp per post compo by chucking in stones (or even half bricks) as you fill the hole with cement. I had to put a fence up around every perimeter of my house about 5 years ago (funny how they were all my responsibility) and I've just counted that I put in 45 posts. Not one of them has come loose (or rotted) but if that job came around again I'd just pay someone! Nice birds you have there Jon. When they take off do you get a plume of red and blue smoke?
  11. I'll be up for a Crimbo do. As long as I can wear a paper hat! Can we have it in an Indian Restaurant please
  12. Christ, that was easier than I thought (must have been all the gardening yesterday!) I've paypalled you the money for a set Paul. Thanks for sorting this out.

I'm off now to talk the missus into buying me a present
  14. Am I right in thinking these are over £60
  15. If I hadn't written this, this could have been the shortest thread in history!

    supra spending

Give it a rest guys, the missus might read this. So far my bill is £1,328 in the past 3 years which is pretty good considering a couple of engine rebuilds, single conversion, manual conversion, etc. Helps to shop around like I told you love

    Man Utd Vs City

8 minutes added on in the chelsea game and still Spurs coldn't get back in it
  18. It's a good idea to fill the filter up as best you can without it spilling when fitting it. If you are sure you emptied it all I would run it for a couple of minutes, then let it settle down and check again must be on a flat surface thogh as has been stated. The pressure is at it's greatest on starting so you just need to run it enough to get the air out of it.
  19. Looking through the table on page 1, I notice that my torque is significantly higher in relation to the BHP in comparison to most of the other cars many with greater horsepower but less torque. I'm assuming this is a good thing . I'm not bragging about this but I am interested as to why this would be, especially as I am aware that the vvti is not working as designed due to the OMEX ECU. Any advice greatly received even if it is... "you read the graph wrong you plonker!"
  20. I had a load of this on second hand skirts. You can get a drill atachment which has a creamy rubber type disc which JodyT had and he stuck this on a drill and 'grinded' it off (not course enough to damage the surface). The final clean up was done with spirits then. PM him for more details if the tar remover fails.
  21. Proposed what exactly? Not marriage I hope All the best mate
