  1. That's the one fella works a treat with the reverse and goes well with the TRD steering wheel. http://www.rhdjapan.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/20560/Image/Normal/Image1.jpg about £16 for the knob and £25 for the post
  2. I'm well chuffed for you Mark. I am sure you will have special dispensation to bring it to the pod! I mean the rear window looks like the supes so just say it is one and that it has been extensively modified!
  3. I bought one from ebay the other day second hand but was told it was in perfect working order when the car was scrapped. If you can convince me that these are no good for turbo cars (different ampage?) then I'm happy to pass on the great price to you. (£40 including delivery)
  4. Which bit of the sentence ' no drifting' didn't you understand?
  5. Then go to whifbitz for them like the rest of us did . You'll still have to fanny up the wiring and bulb holder if you are not originally facelift though; as well as drilling three holes.
  6. I got mine from rhdjapan. £40 if you want it within the week, or £30 if you wait for 6 weeks. I bought mine with the trd steering wheel with airbag so it had to be shipped rather than flown over. It's a lovely tactile knob! http://www.rhdjapan.com/checkout/cart/
  7. I swapped mine for clear ones so have the orange indicator covers and clear bulbs but not the bulb holders or the small nuts to hold them in place as these were used for the new ones.
  8. MarkR may have his left over from his catastrophe. Worth a pm I would have thought.
  9. I'm up for going this year. Had a Xmas card off the missus giving me permission. God she is sexy
  10. When I built my house there wasn't a room issue but in terms of the celotex, I used kingspan as I found a company in Hereford which sold seconds. The majority came where the foil had finished halfway then restarted so there was a flap of additional foil, others which had some minor damage had been patched. Despite my 30% discount at the local yard these came in delivered at 1/3rd of the price. (£600 instead of £1800) I can't recall how much I got but when I got home there were 3 stacks in my drive of 8 x 4 foot boards with each stack around 8 foot tall. You do the maths So... if you do go down that road, shop around and you'll save a fortune. That goes for you builders as well, but then again, you are probably getting 90% discount anyway
  11. Sorry about your predicament but I can't really form a judgement on this unless I know the figure offered as well as the £13k. If they offered £20K plus the car then I'd be well happy. £10K plus the car would put me into consideration mode about how much it would cost to get a mechanic to strip it, then how much am I likely to get back on the parts that will sell relatively easily. £5K and the car I would be frickin' furious but then they could be considering how much to put it right and how much additional depreciation due to Cat C/D. The other thing I don't think many are considering is the personal relationship you strike up with a Garage and it's mechanics during the build. Many often become close friends as a result which then makes it very difficult to get heavy, especially as I am guessing they also feel a load of pain as they would have been very proud of what they had built. I note the vvti element and I share the subtle pint that given my time again, I would have converted a non vvti to single as this is still mostly unknown territory and even done right, the additional costs far outweigh the benefits IMHO. As always though Mark you are handling this with a shedload of dignity and common sense and I wish you all the very best in the outcome and your future plans. (Although if you move from the supra scene I will rescind this last paragraph ).
  12. Oh Man, I've just seen this and I'm absolutely gutted for you. I now how I felt when Martin (Lucifer) rang me after my first rebuild to tell me that the gearbox had blown on it's final test and the anger I had to stifle whilst shelling out £1800 for the fix. However, you have done yourself proud in the way you have acted post crash and you stand as a credit to us all on the forum. I'm sure you will go at it the next project with the same tenacity as before and truly hope this is resolved as smoothly and hassle free as possible for you. So sorry fella...
  13. I have an omex ECU and apparently that couldn't run the vvti as designed ie. gradual changing of the valve pitch, but rather either full on or off if that makes sense. I also lost the FBW in the process as well. I guess this means that before the turbo kicks in at 3800 revs, I haven't much power as I could have, but as I tend to drop down for any attack, I don't experience issues as I prefer to drive around 6 mpg My only problems arise on idle. I was told this could be rectified with a larger throttle valve but as my knowledge is limited to just opening the bonnet and topping up fluids, I have decided to live with it. This does mean that as I come to a stop I have to be concious to let the revs die down to around a 1000 before putting the clutch in as if I do it earlier, the revs dip to such an extreme that it stalls. The lesson I guess is if you are going to buy a Supe that you intend turning into a single, then don't buy a vvti tiptronic until the gurus have worked out all the solutions! Sorry I can't offer any more help.
  14. phone ovenglass repair... ovenglass replacment
  15. C'mon guys... I'm in the married brigade so it's our family time etc. The only way we who are forced to watch can have some fun is by voting for the twins every week, just to wind up the women Everyone knows they are crap and totally irritating (twins that is, not women ), but if we all set our minds together, between us and the rest of the nation, we can have fun to the bitter end of the series. (I'm not forced to watch that jungle shit)
  16. hear hear. You can lose a good second by just having drag tyres.

    X-Factor Voting

Louis Walsh has just had further communications from an unknown terrorist organisation stating that for every week the twins stay in, another member of boyzone will die
  18. HI IMi I'm interested in the biggest drive you have for an IDE as I currently have a maxtor 6L160po so assume that is IDE. Can you give me a price including delivery please.
  19. and then Thats not a need, that's a demand
  20. check whether the skirts and spats are original plastic (not fg). If they are plastic then they are worth £700 alone looking at other adverts on here!

  24. So sorry to see this mate. Get it sorted straight away as I'm sure the pain will remain until it is. Don't let this eat you up. At least you can't see the damage when you're in the car
