  1. Hi Folks Looking into Seat Alhambras at the mo for the old man , he wants something he can get decent mpg , get lots in the back of and be able to tow the track car with and this is the only car i can come up with for him. So my question is has anyone had any experience with them looking at the 2000 on model with the TDi PD engine. Thanks gordon

    Federal tyres

We used to supply them as budget tyres , but wouldnt run them on a supra. Tried a set on the back of the Single Turbo supra we had , they didnt last very long and didnt do a particually good job. As mentioned , dont skimp on tyres.
  7. Hi Folks Been going through my pile of parts I have left from various jap motors and found this TRD Clutch TRD Clutch Cover and reconditioned plate. The setup was bought from my supra about a year ago from Bijal ( yes i know!!) spent the day getting the box out and fitting it , only to find that it was slipping!? Its looking like its the clutch cover that is at fault but i cant be certain. The plate has been reconditioned and seems ok. Bijal refused to refund me and iv been stuck with it ever since May be of use to someone , can provide pics , so if any one is interested , make me and offer. Thanks Gordon

  10. well tried WSB's method and it got me up to 254kb! a whole 13kb improvement i can feel the difference already
  11. LOL cheers bud, will double check , i will sacking AOL off once the building work starts. Well just done a speed test thingy , im getting 241kb - rapid! Will have a look at your thread WSB2 thanks
  12. Hi Folks Have recently moved house to somewhere even more rural! I transfered my 2meg AOL Package over to the new house and to be honest my broadband has been dire. First problem - the line will only support 512kb , pretty dismal for modern standards. Is there anyway of checking if my exchange/line can be or is due to be upgraded? Second problem - Internet speed seems to drop off , i put it down to my wireless connection been poor due to it being a fairly old farmhouse. So invested in a set of HomePlugs (mains networkings) now it made a slight improvement on the office pc , but its made my pc even slower. So a combination of 512kb and poor connection is meaning its like being back on dial up! Anyone got any advice? I dont want to invest too heavily in networking gear at the moment as the house is to due to be gutted and rewired in the summer so the plan is to network the whole house with points in each room then. Thanks Gordon

  19. Hmmm looking through google it seems that you can just rename the extension to .mpg , although it can cause some audio probs with some software. Hopefully it should be ok. Right..better go check the bank balance!
  20. Well..quite a long tale of how it all came about but anyway , i was given the fantastic opportunity back in 2004 to start a japanese import firm off the back of my dads sister company. I had financial help although alot of my own money was put in. Things took off well, i was heavily involved in the rx7 club and did alot of work with rx7s , but early 05 i spotted a T88 Supra going in japan and managed to get hold of it. On arrival to the Uk the car need more development work then expected so my old man agreed to take the car as his own personal car for the year and continue developing it which i helped him with. The car was then sold to PrivatePile, who has continued to develop it even further. In 07 iv pretty much handed over the import side of things to the old man , although i still have some input , but im mainly focused on A Levels at the mo. Anyway tried to cut a long story short there , but you get the idea. Can reveal to much about the track car but imagine lightweight hatchback and 300-350bhp to the tonne.
  21. lol, i am supraless these days! Although i imported my first supra back in 05 when i was 15 lol. Althought it wasnt totally funded by me i did have quite abit of cash tied up in it.
