  1. Hi Guys Anyone got a single din tray available? Thanks Gord
  2. They have until mid next week to have this problem sorted , or i will be taking this further. There is another company involved who are telling all its customers that for some unknown reason they have been put on stop , and that customers should go into the depot with the collection note and tell them their friend booked it and ask them to give them their parcels. Seriously dodgy situation. Can see this one becoming a bit of a pain!
  3. I have already told them ill pay to get the good released , because as you can imagine my customers arnt best pleased. But they are refusing to let me do this at present , saying the goods cannot be released until they have been paid by the 3rd party. But with a debt as large as they have its doubtful it will be any time soon.
  4. Ill be present all being well, but dont think there is any need to put the Golf on the dyno.

  6. My question is really , can this large firm legally hold my parcels , even if i have offered to cover costs. I ask myself why they even collected them if they were aware of problems!
  7. My concern is its looking more and more like a scam. They owe the large courier firm 40k im told. Police are involved and all parcels are being held under security with no information regarding their release. I have offered to pick up and pay them to release the parcels , because as you can imagine my customers arnt best pleased.
  8. Hi Folks Having problems with some parcels that are stuck at a depot in Birmingham due to a big problem between a 3rd party courier and a big name courier. Basically iv booked through the 3rd party , who owe the large courier serious money and my parcels are being held at the main depot and are going no where. Anyone able to offer any legal advice. Thanks Gord
  9. Im tempted. What in i dont know yet.
  10. Also there is Rob at Perfect Touch. Iv heard nothing but good reports about him. Meant to be very good with V Pros. I would seriously consider sticking with a V PRO , i was very impressed with it and will more than likely be switching off my Power FC on my new car shortly.
  11. Mark at Owen Development (Oxford) did the mapping on my V PRO. Faultless service. Although when I previously spoke to Mark he was trying to push Motec. May still be worth a call hes a very helpful chap.
  12. Ill be at most rounds so hopefully we can arrange something as a club - its a nice venue with a real mix of cars. More and more japanese motors featuring in the Road going classes as well which is always good.
  13. Hi Folks I know quite a few people took an interest in Harewood Hillclimb Nr . Leeds last year , so thought id make everyone aware of the 2008 dates. Practice Day: 30th March Competitive Dates: April 13 May 10 May 11 June 7 June 8 July 5 July 6 August 3 August 24 September 20 September 21 Hopefully we can arrange a few club meets for some of the dates. I can arrange with the organisers if we wish to have group bookings ( Unless Michael wants that Job again?!) For those of you who are are interested in actually competing you will need the following. MSA NON RACE NATIONAL B LICENCE £36 BARC Basic Club Membership £33.00 BARC Centre Membership, Costs an additional £15.00 per Centre ( Yorkshire centre required) Event cost is usually about £90 i think. Most of you guys would be looking at Class 3 – Road modified saloon & sports cars over 2000 cc if you wanted to enter the supra. The class requires the car to be road legal - detailed regs im told are to be released shortly. Looking like it will be a very competitive class this year. If anyone wants any more advice let me know , iv been involved in Harewood since i was about 6 so hopefully should be able to shed some light for you. Thanks Gord
  14. I Highly rate RX-7s, would certainly recommend! Main things to watch for , as you can imagine , are engines. If looked after they will last. Compression should be good , hot & cold start is something to check on. Only drawback with them i can think of for you is your height. Will be snug in there! Im 5,10 and i fit an FD perfectly! http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com & Fduk.org are two good rx7 clubs if you are looking for advice.
  15. Biffy Clyro - Love has a diameter

  24. HI Chap Thanks for the reply. Very Helpful As you say , im being drawn to the Seat because of the extra spec you get. Parts/tyres it isnt to much of an issue because my old boy owns his own motorfactors. Havent test driven one no , trying to find one locally we can go and look at. How do you fine the PD engine, is yours the 115 or 130? Id imagine the 115 is the same setup as my GT TDi Golf and im impressed with it. What sort of mpg do you get, the old boy is big on mpg. Thanks Gordon
