    Id still get it inspected by the garage just in case something has broken, fingers etc. Ive got an RPS on my V160 and its fine, but the gearboxes are always a bit agricultural

    Well my view is when you push the pedal down, disengage the gearbox the noise stops. Maybe theres a bearing going somewhere? Its always hard to diagnose a noise on the internet. What gearbox is it?

    Its probably going to be behind the cluster. I still maintain converters are a needless complication, just learn 4 numbers

    How can that happen in transit? Its obvious its poor material and pressing the dowel in caused the issue. Outrageous.

    Its not unknown with old ceramic turbos, but its normally the 1st turbo as it does the majority of the work. People seem to have this acceptance that 1.2bar is safe, anything over a bar is risking it on old ceramic turbos, 1.1 max, the difference in turbo speed between the 2 is probably a lot. But thats a shit job to do in the car, Ive pulled the engine out in the past to change turbos, my first port of call is usually TTC mode

    Just change the rail. Ive got a Titan fuel rail in mine, 14 odd mm aperture. Ive also got a set of the bushes that fit in the manifold
