  1. I belive Dude with post my results from the hybrid conversion and I know BHP is contravertial but have result of 516 on one set up of the car on a standard auto box,

  5. All said and done then the figures are pretty accurate. It would be nice to hit the magic 500 though!!!
  6. Thats the Idea Dude, a car for every day!! , 264's will be next and then maybe six speed. I do like the auto for my commuting though.

Cr turbos built the hybrids by reboaring and steel internals, F Con V pro, Forged engine and rebuild of cylinder head,with Wiseco Pistons,ACL Race Bearings,ARP head Bolts,ARP Rod bolts, new oil and water pump,550 injectors and FMIC plus other bits that go with the rebuild. My understanding this may be the best figure on hybrids in the UK?
  8. Just been Rolling road AFR and got 434 at 1.1 Bar and wound it up to 480! at 1.4, Looking for 500 later this week.

  11. Matt and John you have a great setup at the new place and may see you there hopefully may even have done enough miles on the new engine to get a hybrid twin set up over the 450bhp and some. Great job guys.
  12. You get what you pay for in the end, I would assume a few more issues to come to light over the next few weeks as surely the guy know the value of a TT on 60K ( if that is genuine ). Not trying to knock your mate but I smell a rat.

Sorry but spoiling the airflow will ALWAYS induce drag, not quite sure about the " break free from the sucking effect :blink:" this is why all comercial and aicraft have spoilers on the wing to cause additional drag and to slow the aircraft down. This is why I was saying it best call it a wing.
  21. Spoiler is the wrong word to use and wing is more realistic to the job it is used for. A spoiler disrupts the airflow as it passes by hence the name spoiler and this will enduse drag as a result of this, a wing will create low pressure on the underside of it resulting on a downforce and will help control at high speed. By altering the blade angle on the TRD will create more downforce but will aslo induce more drag so there will always be a comprimise of the two.
