  1. Christ that's one hell of big bunny! He's almost as big as you. Anybody read The Sunday Times about Herman the German Giant rabbit. 7.7 kg (not lbs) and 1m tall. I vote state funeral burial or cremation. Wheelie bin is strictly for non-recyclables.
  2. Cheers, I just got a PM from him.
  3. I'd recommend the Bobby Sands diet for max weight loss.

    2007

After 5 years it's gotta be BPU, Volks CE28Ns, Whiteline anti-roll bars and a tanker load of V Power
  5. Larf! I must still be hammered from last night. I better not take the batmobile out for a New Years Day burn up yet.
  6. That's weird cos last week it said Superman was on and infact it was Zulu.
  7. Sorry Swandip but according to that wheel chart an 18" x 7.5" Team Dynamics Diablo is about 25 kg whereas a similar sized Volk CE28N is 14.7 kg!!! Is that right? With all that unsprung mass bouncing about, what's the handling and road holding like?
  8. Great advice guys. That wheelweights link is spot on. Anybody got any opinions on Volks CE28Ns?
  9. Anybody got any recommendations on a set of 18" wheels with an emphasis on light weight. Sort of thing I want to spend my Xmas bonus on is a set of Volks GTCs split rims (they probably weigh a ton) but if there's something better out there, you tell me.
  10. Yeah my dash squeaked too. It was only the various plastic bits and pieces moving about. Annoying yes. Only thing was all the screws were tight. I cured the problem by giving the noisy areas a small squirt of WD40.
  11. I can't believe what you youngsters are paying! I'm with Admiral, fully comp with full NCB, bonus protected for £360. It was £280. How can they justify £80 in a year? The crooks!!
  12. The 3rd device is your BRAIN. Last year I put my Supe into an armco barrier while doing less than 20 mph on a roundabout. It was about 6pm on a Sunday night, very slippery. It was starting to snow even. The roundabout is like dish tilted with me heading from the top towards the bottom. The combination of greasy road surface and the adverse road camber pushed the back end out left. Only doing 20 so dead easy to control – NOT!!! She then fishtailed right then left and by the time I was heading towards the Armco, I must have been doing 5 mph. ABS is kicking in too late. All I can hear is the sound of glass and reg plate breaking and plastic creaking from the front. SOB! It was like one of those slow motion crash test dummy films. The damage looked a lot worse than it really was and even the HID bulbs were intact. I was mega worried the insurance would write her off but the assessor decided to fix her. Silver lining was I got two new headlights worth £300 each, complete new front end with drop-down spoiler and front respray for a £250 excess. Result! But I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody sorting out heavily chipped paintwork. I could’ve let her spin out but if I went off to the left I would have rolled down a 15 feet bank. Ouch! Since then TC never gets switched off. And the nightmares continue. Today you can see the storm blue paint on the bent-up barrier and all my mates call it Chewie's roundabout. You can't miss it if you're driving past GCHQ in Cheltenham.
  13. That's brilliant news!! I've been following this one since the start of the week. There's a lesson to be learnt here, We spend thousands on our Supras for bling & performance but very little on security. As mentioned in an earlier reply, a CCTV system with lighting can be set up for less than £100. Nobody should have to wait to go through what Womble's been through to have an incentive to buy a CCTV system. I had one set up primarily for home but I'm amazed by the number of people I get on tape who walk up my drive and look at my Supra and even tug at the door. Seriously you wouldn't believe until you saw it. Now every night I park my car in it the garage. Please don't make it easy for them. Merry Christmas Womble.

    MOT Failiure

I've got bluish HID and blue side lights and it sailed through the MOT two weeks ago. He was probably jealous and hoping you'd flog it to him cheap.
  15. I've just pulled out the driver side headlight, drying out the condensation with a hairdryer. I can say the white plastic hex head does the dip height, the inner silver adjuster does the dip side to side and the outer silver adjuster does the fog height.
