  1. For the last few months, I've been looking at replacing the Supra with a Caterham R300. It's funny that whizzing around the pot hole strewn frozen wastelands of southern England looking at R300s, the Supra has been absolutely brilliant. So much so that I'm thinking instead of lashing £20K on a Caterham, why not blow it on modding the old girl. But then I know only a few months down the line I'll only go and buy a Caterham.
  2. DIY too. Then later built a gate at the front and fitted strip lighting. The back end got a 19 ft x 9 ft workshop shed tacked on the end and now I've got space to work on a Supra, Caterham and two motorbikes. Happy days!
  3. Hey JamieP, I luv those Nike biking trainers. [sHOCK][/sHOCK] Where did you buythem from? LOL!! [GRIN][/GRIN]
  4. Quite understandable why so many people are scared of riding motorbikes. The paradox is I bet you'll quite happily jump without a second thought on a bicycle and pedal down a hill doing 45 mph wearing nothing more than a polystyrene helmet fastened to your head with a clip on strap, lycra shorts, tee shirt, no gloves, trainers. After the test many bikers continue with further training like IAM, Bike Safe, Californian SB School, etc. Modern bike training makes you ride defensively and assume everybody is an idiot. If anything, riding bikes has made me a better driver and cyclist. You become more observant and considerant of your surroundings instead of being cocooned in a metal box with ICE thumping away. I wager very few car drivers continue with any advance training after their test. It's another life skill to add to your petrol head CV.
  5. Good luck with the sale. I'll be watching with anticipation. Mine's UK spec with 62,000 miles on the clock and like yours is standard with a TRD front strut brace and HIDs as the only mods. I'll wait when yours sells and then pitch mine.
  6. Briliant idea. It's the best fun I've ever had on wheels be it a skateboard or a Supra. You have to drive your car at 1** mph round a corner to get the same experience as leaning a bike in. Don't really need anything more than 600. Try a CBR600RR, Daytona 675 or a Ducati 848. Both capable of 0-60 in about 3.5 secs. Gridlocks, motorway jams don't exist on a bike.
  7. Best to reset the brake and accelerator pedal at more or less the same height. Or get flexi jointed right ankle.

    Idiot on Ice

LMAO! You got to admire the way she just stands there filming it. There must be a sequel to this when he gets up and beats the cr4p out of her.

    Broken foot?

Was that by wearing her 4" heels?
  10. Welcome. Very strict on here about punctuation, syntax, grammar, tenses, conjugating verbs and of course, spelling. It indirectly controls the Chav population on the forum.
  11. I use to heel and toe alot during my suped up Mini and 205 GTI days. Useful for simultaneous downshifting and braking like when you've gone into a corner too hot or want to shift weight for extra grip upfront. Also great for locking up the back on FWD for initiating a drift if you're too busy to tug the handbrake.
  12. Good luck. This is your chance to shine. Research the company. Show them you're more than interested in the job and know alot about them. Tell them that you REALLY want to work for THEM. And if they ask you what you want to do in 5 years time DO NOT say 'I want your job.' That sort of BS went out in the 80s.
  13. I reckon Kentucky fried fish in a coating of 11 secret herbs and spices. And how about sushi and chips. You'll save a fortune on batter and deep frying.
  14. That's a cracking deal especially with Dura Ace. I built my bike up with a Giant TCR frame and 06 Ultegra groupset. Are you running triple or double chainset?
  15. Eau de KFC, Spirit de Big Mac and of course Phartt Pour Homme.
  16. Damn I was gonna give you £100.01 for those.
  17. Did she mean she wanted it up the pooper?
  18. Why would so-called 'HIGH GRADE 2014 ALUMINIUM' be any better than a lower spec grade bearing in mind that it's only being used for bezels, knobs, surrounds etc. Just a feable excuse to hike up the price.
  19. Big deal. It's a Toyota. Mine passes MOT everytime. Complete waste of money.
  20. Avoid motorways and dual carriageways and stick to twisty country lanes. If you do end up on a straight stretch, swerve side to side like an F1 car on the warm up lap. You won't notice the steering wheel misalignment one jot.
  21. Last year some git habitually stuck nails in my rear tyres. I replaced with a new tyre but after the 3rd time I decided to go for a repair as it was getting a tad expensive. Still haven't worked out who did it.
  22. What's the problem? Is it the Merc parked too close to the Toyota? [GRIN][/GRIN]
  23. Take the pain. Just be grateful you weren't in China. Try pleading you've a bi-polar mental disorder. Doesn't work in China but definite get out of jail card in UK.
