What happens is the electric current tries to find the next best path of least resistance. I had something similar happen to my old 205 GTi whenever you indicated the headlights flashed. Took alot of staring at the circuit diagram to work that one out.

Because it's just another excuse to make more money! Probably a fallacy or myth that parts are hard to come-by when it comes to repairs, have to specially ordered, estimating replacement values etc.

Today on my Sunday afternoon drive I came up behind a metallic sky blue 56 plate Honda Accord near Tewkesbury. Everytime the road was clear, he'd floor it. So I obligingly returned the favour. Typical Gloucestershire country B roads heading out towards the Malvern hills. Speed increased to about 80-90 leps, he could n't lose me and I couldn't overtake him as the roads were too narrow and twisty. Then we came up behind a proper Sunday driver and proceedings slowed down to a leisurely crawl. It was then I noticed the what looked like a rear facing 'camera', a whole load of other stuff mounted on the dash, a rear view mirror for the passenger and the fluoro green jacket!! I hope he was off duty. [sAD][/sAD]

I think if I told that to your car, she'll be very upset that you've swapped your manual for an autobox? The issue of fuse removal was with respect to auto not manual box. So I understand, removing the fuse is still not a good move.

With a $/£ exchange rate at nearly 2:1 there has never been a better time to buy from the US. It's a bargain even if you paid the duty. Prices in the UK are such a rip-off. You're paying extra for somebody else to take the risk of late or non-delivery. And only a remote risk at that. Those TRD strut braces were on sale in the UK for £180 to £250!! I got them for £80 each. The duty was bugger all. I bought two and flogged one on eGay for £150. KERCHINGGG

I replaced my sides with PIAA led bulbs and they look TOP!!

I'm looking at the last thing (TRD strut braces) I had sent over from the US and the blurb that came from FedEx says to be classed as a gift... The total value must not exceed $50!! And HM Costumes & Excuses have the final say. The crate will be worth more than $50. GOOD LUCK!!!

Mine is still fitted with the stock OEM TC not RLTC. When I enquired about disabling it the TC by removing the fuse the advice was don't as it messes up the autobox. Just use the TC off button. Off for a beer now so I'll catch on those threads tomorrow.

Yeah excellent advice. Pulling the TC fuse can severely mess up the auto transmission.

And how much tyre tread do you need to start off with before you're down to the fabric carcass?
