    Do i declare?

I am amazed you even considered it or let alone put this thread up to ask people. You get injured/killed that's your decision but what if you took somebody else down.
  3. I knew it all the time! YOU'RE NOT A CHARLOTTE!!! YOU'RE REALLY A CHARLES!!! [sHOCK][/sHOCK]
  4. I luv it how she doesn't takes it on the driver but her son who's filming it [GRIN][/GRIN]
  5. My mate Wayne says he's got a micro todger, like's little boys, keeps hamsters, listens to the pet shop boys, wears womens lingerie, his f4rts smell of sp3rm and drinks malibu and pineapple. [sHOCK][/sHOCK]
  6. I gave up biking cos of too many near misses. One day I was gonna cop it big time. Are drivers more stupid or is it me?
  7. Are you after a pearl necklace? [GRIN][/GRIN]
  8. You cheating barsteward! You pinched that off the Scooby W**kers Club site!!!
  9. Could they ever do a usable smilie for a 'w**ker' and what would it look like?
  10. I think you missed a bit just below the nearside light cluster next to the number plate. [GRIN][/GRIN]
  11. I thought when you felt like Basil fawlty you enjoyed slapping up Spanish waiters and birching Austin 1100s.
  12. £95!!! Wot a rip-off! I get mine done over lunch break for a cornish pasty and a vending machine cuppa Kenco coffee but it does help that we make diesel fuel injection systems.
  13. I've got UK lights and looking at the back of the units out of the car, there are vent/drain hole in the base. So messing about with seals on the bulbs isn't going to do much. Probably condensation. Do you use a jet wash that's been spraying water around the engine compartment?
  14. He's not been killed off. He's been promoted to Major Disaster and later he reincarnates as General Accident. Then for invading third world camel jockey countries in his War of Terrorism, he gets demoted to Corporal Punishment and later to Private Parts.
  15. Well lets hope her car gets written off.
  16. I've superglued one to my forehead and the other has been sewn over a hole in my jean. [GRIN][/GRIN]
  17. Stainless steel cold welds or galls. This is probably the problem. You only need a close tight fit between two sliding surface and if there's no anti-seize compound... bingo... stuck for life!
  18. Yesterday in front of startled onlookers a 59 year old woman in the Cotswolds tried driving her Volkswagen through 5 feet of submerged road! They tried stopping her but she just carried on. Of course it conked out and she had to escape out through the drivers window and be rescued by the fire brigade.

    Diesel cars

Now things get complicated. Easy remedy but very immoral! You could always do what a mate of mine does - disconnect the speedo. May affect something else if the ECU relies on it.
  20. Forget it! We've got a 68 person syndicate at work. We spend £102 on the Euro lottery every week. This week we won £7.50. Last week it was £15.40, the week before it was £11.90 and then £9.60 and £53.80. It's been going for 5 weeks now. Buy the windscreen - it's cheaper!

    Diesel cars

Would it? Taking into account the £3K you'll spend on the car plus the cost of MOT, tax, insurance and maintenance you could easily spend that on the extra fuel cost of driving the Supra as a main car. I was going to buy a diesel runabout but after doing the maths I was still better off running the Supe as my daily driver. Remember unless you SORN for 6 months or whatever, you still need to pay tax, insurance, MOT etc for the Supe for a full year.
  22. Not safely. You will need to weld it and the high temperature will anneal the wheel and affect the strength of the whole wheel. Ditch it.
  23. I took mine off as the TRD strut brace mounting plate was substantial enough to spread the clamp load. Essential to use an accurate torque wrench for tightening the 3 nuts on each strut.
  24. Road running is fine. It really comes down to your running shoes. You need to go to a specialist running shop on a week day to avoid spotty teenage kids who know jack sh1t. If you're tall and heavy you may need a good 'support' shoe with good cushioning. You need to look at your gait, are you a fore foot striker or heel striker, do you pronate or supronate. Everybodys different so it's mega important to get the right advice. Some places have a treadmill with video gait analysis. I run 30-40 miles per week and I get through 4 pairs a year of Asics 2110. Training wise I do a mixture of 6x 4 min sprint with 3 mins rest intervals, 3 mile hill session, 6 mile straight run do a long run 13-18 miles on a weekend. This is more than adequate for a half marathon. Never miss out the sprint training. For a years I could never get below 90 mins for a half marathon but following this regime I'm doing halfs in 86-87 mins and 10ks in 36 mins. Keep on running.
