  1. Wasnt aware of anyone in Shetlands with a supra, possibly just a visitor (obviously with plenty of money - if he can afford the round trip ) I'm sure my mates would have told me if there was one that far north - not the kind of thing you can hide in Lerwick Cheers Ian
  2. http://Documents and Settings\ian johnston\My Pictures\MUNRO CLIMBING\Ben Vorlich (Earn)181009-1.jpg Myself with Mollie (11yr old border collie )
  3. Was it Lerwick or Aberdeen side ? I was going to take mine up for the Shetland Vintage Car Show ( ok I know the car isnt a vintage yet - BUT I AM ) , but your boat fares were to dear !!! Cheers Ian
  4. Congratulations to the both of you in producing something special. Cheers Ian
  5. How you doing Stevie ? I heard you had a major incident with a cow ( the 4 legged type ) and that you were off work for a while. Hope everything is fine now , see you at a meet sometime Cheers Ian
  6. Ah , thats makes things a bit more problematic !! I can understanding George's problem in trying to explain these calls to current wife cheers Ian Ps IanW good luck if your considering the big hitch
  7. George - just marry her mate - that'll stop the nuisance calls cheers Ian PS Or get IanW to marry her instead !!!!!
  8. Remember and watch '' Deliverance '' before going on any canoe trip. Squeal like a pig son !!!! Cheers Ian
  9. Down the Caledonian Canal is a good trip - did it about 30 years ago- but still remember it fondly. The book '' Scottish Canoe Touring '' published by the Scottish Canoe Association , is full off great info if you wish to paddle the rivers and lochs - some very remote. Cheers Ian
  10. It possibly should take about 10mins each , but it took them over 3 hours , they had the whole front spoiler off - to find that it is only 3 nuts holding the lights in !! I had never even looked at the job - but from reading from this net I knew that the front spoiler didnt need to come off. Cheers Ian
  11. I got mine from Shields Toyota on the EK bypass , about 3 years ago and they were about £260.00. I got a quote from them for £40.00 to fit (which I quickly accepted ) as it took them 3 hours and stripping off the front spoiler - which wasn't neccessary. The chief mechanic asked me how to do it !!!! Cheers Ian
  12. It would be interesting if someone would start a poll on the most hated professions / jobs. Then we could see how many club members fall into these hated occupations Cheers Ian
  13. Looks like a great turn out and presentation of beloved vehicles. Well done everyone on getting best stand award. PS Eve you look even more lovely than ever Cheers Ian
  14. George (Geo), seems like your getting some competition from the 2 above bodybuilders. cheers Ian
