  1. I did the oil cooler change method, and got the pipes the wrong way round and end up throwing new ATF absolutely everywhere... MAINLY over me... and it is horrible stuff
  2. It is the same procedure as the TT. Also rememeber simply dropping the fluid will not drain the torque convertor.
  3. Them and They? Have you forgotten you are one of them ones over there....
  4. Are multiple engined machines allowed on the road, I seem to remember reading something about them not being able to have more than one engine engaged for road use (Could be way off, just remember some renault 5 years back which had two but couldn't use the second engine)
  5. Porsche transxle with a GM LS9 engine... Should be interesting.... Whether or not it would fit without taking half the metal work out of the car... well...
  6. Wonders how closely the mods are viewing the results and plotting against those who voted *grin* Just kidding... I'm going to sit on the fence because they all do a decent job of keeping us in check (and letting riffraff like me hang around.)
  7. My recaros are on the recaro subframe which has three settings, (as people who know me know I'm a short arse) I have mine all the way up and I get get good visibility alround. My 22 stone mate sits in them easily enough as well. (Bangs his head on the roof though)
  8. Are the blades getting destroyed by the heat from the exhaust gases? Bear in mind if they are running higher boost and hotter EGT's the blade material may not be up to it. Any high spots in the blades would heat up quicker, and then slowly burn off resulting the above damage... Another possibility is that the flow from the XS power manifold isn't smooth enough and it is focusing the hot air on the back of the blades... Just an early morning thought...
  9. Okay, now I know this has been said before, but think very carefully, if you are having to save hard for a TT, then running costs will finish you off. The Supra is not a cheap car to run and the TT has its own quirks to worry about. Parts aren't cheap on either of the models and when things go wrong...welll... Don't be too put off by it, but definitely bear the maintence costs in mind when looking at one. A cheap TT won't neccesarily be in top shape.
  10. Quick! Order some bits on the card and clean it out first.... *grin*
  11. Make a jet engine out of it, for a laugh... http://www.salvatoreaiello.com/main.shtml#Using%20a%20Turbo%20Charger%20for%20a%20Jet%20Engine Going to do it with the old T70 tubby I have...
  12. At least on the bright side, you can have a tug in peace..
  13. In all seriousness, I've been out in this car, and for hybrids it is awesome, nice twin kick and boy does it haul it down the road... Brakes do the job as well.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIYVNr36B08&mode=related&search= Pacman this time...
  15. Mine and a box of m&m's... Mine also drives on the left hand side of the road *grin*
  16. Guys, no need to fight, by the looks of it, plenty of 'loving' to go round.
  17. Just spotted it in Banzai, Not connected to it in anyway, just thought it may interest people.
  18. Any recent machine will be fine I would have thought with a dual output card, I used an AGP based Radeon 9800SE with good results.
  19. heheh, glad to see you get the humour, not meant as a nasty dig btw
  20. Given the recent spate of suspension lower threads *grin*.. I submit my own design for consideration. No need to worry about speeding either. http://www.slipstreem.net/mkivsupra/images/suspension.jpg My dad of all people sent it to me...

    Thursday joke

That is just so untrue... The english would be down the pub....
  22. Don't like the car... HOWEVER I don't dislike the colour of the paint with lightning bolt in it, I reckon with the right kit and other mods (no silly exhaust or yellow in takes or bodykit, etc)

    Nankang...

I wasn't considering them for the Supra to be honest, I have enough fun keeping the F1's gripping on the dry. It was for the 200SX on a spare set of alloys for drifting days where I don't really want to going through F1's or anything of that value. I have heard that they do just go all gooey when they are really thrashed and end up like jelly, so I think all in I might pass and just go for cheapy dunlops (They do smoke ever so nicely *grin*)
  24. Didn't want to make the topic title 'Only in America' because it wouldn't be PC (And someone may take offence at me being americanist *grin*)
