    Space pics

Saw them last week... My fav is definitely the kid with the net.... Heading up to Greenwich for the exhibition and hoping to buy a few prints
  2. Aaawww, and I was expecting phone powered little RC cars
  3. Pretty much instant spin.... We used to train people to handle this at BMW advanced driving, by disabling the ABS and then two wheels on the skidpan and two on the tarmac, and it was frightening JUST how quick the car can turn round on you....
  4. Hold on.... Need to be careful with this, as it sounds like the master cylinder has dual feeds (which rightly it should have).... I've not looked into too much detail at the supra braking system recently, but I understood from the basics in mechanics that there should be diagonal opposite systems, ie front right+rear left and front level+rear right to help mitigate any failure issues....
  5. And the best way to hide something is plain sight Ever noticed how Facebook, youtube and google seem to know your particular choices and likes.....
  6. Fine!!! be like that Was only going to charge you £100 a tyre.... I won't now.... (takes his tyres and goes home )
  7. I've got a few 235's spare if you want them....(17's though)
  8. CJ, I'm in Reading now and ALWAYS have a spare room for you, if you require it.
  9. Storage is a mine field.... Casey is a storage expert IMHO of outstanding proportion... We ended up designing a very bespoke solution that suits our application requirements, which aren't really translateable to anything else.....
  10. Voted for virtualbox for just mucking about with I use it for my build servers as it is a lot cheaper on licensing, BUT it is a command line nightmare at first At least teleportation is included with out vmotion That said, I'm a cloud guy through and through....
  11. You are worried about changing a turbo, yet considering a setup like this?
  12. Way overly complicated pipe work really.... look at the amount of pipework in the compound boost setup.....then try cram it in into the engine bay
  13. As nice as the car is... I can't help but feel I'd need a burberry cap to drive it Which is a shame because they are lovely cars, but just it's natural owner......

    Smart ForTwo

yeah, exhaust turbine housing and manifold are all one piece.... around £1k...

    Smart ForTwo

Oooh that has chewed something up... I 'HAD' a 599cc version which got funny on me, but due to lack of time I binned the project. The turbo's are usually easy to find about though... I can ask the guys I was getting parts off if need be.
  16. And with that, I completely retract my previous statements All is good
  17. Sounds very tradery..... How has the car done 400 miles in the UK if unregistered?
  18. Hmmmm.... I may be out of order here.... BUT couple of things... a) Relatively new member... b) Non registered car c) on behalf of someone else This is not to say it isn't a great deal..
  19. Hmmmm, I'm the same As much as I tried to hate the iphone, it is a device that JUST works.... I use a galaxy S2 for a lot of my work testing, but I keep going back to the iPhone. The blackberry has had it's day....
  20. It is polish.. Don't take this as gospel as my polish is VERY rudimentary...
  21. hahaha, I didn't even park it in my usual parking spot at the office this morning FOR EXACTLY that reason
  22. Uni??? DAMN now I'm definitely feeling old....
  23. I broke it Had it remapped, turned up the boost and ended up sticking a piston out, burnt valves etc ..... had all the good intention of building it up as a project, but work schedule and complete LACK of time meant that wasn't going to happen, so decided to cut my losses before it cost me any more money... BUT I did get a cracking replacement car (318ti compact, mtech...etc)
