  1. Right due to no local regular skid area im going to sell the 13 in favour of building something like a track project AE92 3sGTE or 2.0 EG Civic i can get plenty of local track time to suit 123k miles Taxed+Tested until NOV 09 Body work carried out: replaced nsr inner and outer arch, tailgate and sprayed all the way down to the front of the front doors Reciepts for all sill welding turbo work cambelt two services (Castrol RS/Silkolene Pro S oil) in 9k miles since i have had the car big ends changed a few months ago Clutch (no receipt although when changing gearbox noticed it has an Exeddy) Recent gearbox from 90k miles s13 2way Diff, 5 bolt shafts Subframe collars Tein Comfort flex suspension D2 Tension rods Tommy Kaira wheels with good rubber Space set of facelift wheels, 2 with good rubber, two very worn Full stainless exhaust Mushroom type air filter SOLD Here is the build thread with loads of piccies...... http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-car-projects-builds/83018-project-s13-noob.html
  2. The market has died and they seem to be less desirable now I think you will have to bite your tongue and take offers
  3. HGF could cause the overpressuring causing the rad cap to vent out the coolant..... However it has happened it will have done the head gasket/head no favours at all
  4. The leading factor up to 2001 was Rover using Nylon dowels instead of metal ones, the cooling system is up to the job but they did relocate the thermostats on later cars. The problem is that the suffer from 'head shuffle' and localised areas of high temperature in an area between an oil way and coolant way which also causes the sealing bead to deteriorate Ib be banging the door of that garage down about it if i was you!
  5. Gratuitous pics of each panel So tempted to change my mind after tonights blast, must resist
  6. Buyer is taking a while to come up with cash so still currently available....

    Prestwood hall

I have a driving experience at Prestwood Hall but the reviews of the place arent great and youtube vids show that if im honest the instructors seem to make the drivers shift early and slow down way too much..... Anyone have an input, its a long way to go to be disappointed:(
  9. retract that offer free bump
  10. Can anyone explain the motorsport tyre size of say Mich Ta20 18/58/15?
  11. Evo6 looks dated imho, and looks abit gash If i stretched to an 8 i may get a pig for the money id spend which is why i was going for a 7 And things like a 350z turbo are out of the question, the idea is for it to be a reliable daily/fun car, i use my s13 for track use
  12. Whilst searching i found an NSX that caught my eye, more my kind of thing
  13. ok well if you change your mind....its sooooo hard getting rid of something like this in present climate, as i said i lost so much on my uk spec even though it was absolutely mint
  14. Yeah todd thats my worry, and im not the sort of driver to rev the nuts of somethin 24/7, i had a civic vti as a daily and hated it with a passion:(
  15. were all evo7 uk cars french blue?
  16. Id make you an offer but it would be low
  17. Some good arguments going on, id say every 4wd car will understeer badly but power delivery etc is awesome I have now driven a friends tuned DC5 and it was ok and vtech noise was awesome, but as usual the lack of torque failed to impress I have got my eye on an Azure 350z at present, looks very smart even though id like another black car Evo7 uk cars seem to be all in French Blue which is rank imho, im after an RS model really aswell FD2 will be a little out of my price range now i have checked but i cant see it being a huge difference to the DC5 although track testing revealed the FD2 is quicker S2000 was considered im just not sure on them, id like to drive one Elise is hairdresser styleeee even though with the right engine they are weapons BMW imho are fail, not interested in any, especially an E46 M that sounds like a bag of nails, the 330's sound so much better
  18. A little premature yet but im looking at cars that i am prospectively going to buy in the near future. I know im never going to match the grunt that my single has but to be honest i have experienced it now and its going to be a fantastic memory. My thoughts so far are: 1) 350z 2) Evo7 3) Rx8 4) S15 5) DC5 Teg 6) FN2 type R 7) FD2 type R Now the 350z is very pretty, a little heavy but good reliable every day if need be with moderate power Evo7 was imho the first of the more luxury Evo's, but as always they are blisteringly quick and handling is awesome. May be a little fragile for everyday stuff i suppose and 4cyl motors imho are always a bit laggy Rx8 seems totally underpowered but people say their handling is thier saviour, i love the looks and interior though and the suicide doors are a nice quirk. Probably very good as a daily drive S15 is beautiful and should be quick but still using the ancient SR20 and only available as an Import, i have never owned an import nor really want to but no choice here Teg is also only import but they look fantastic inside and out and reliability will be awesome. However i have previously driven a cammed and mapped one and it was only warm FN2 has grown on me, but i doubt it will be as much fun as DC5 or FD2. However plus side would be reliable and fun. Slightly out of my price range at present FD2 is just gorgeous, but import only and currently quite expensive but seems to have a very good package along with the usual Honda reliability Fire away people.........
