  1. I keep meaning to get mine cleaned up before selling it on, looking at this thread its been 2 years and I’ve still not done it not the best pic but it will clean up nice. Can get more pics too if you want? Would still want £350 for it if you’re interested? Will be travelling up to Milton Keynes next month if you wanted to do a handover to save postage costs?
  2. These are on the shopping list but I haven’t researched them, I imagine they are expensive to purchase and fit? My main concern with the scraping is more when driving on normal roads, they’re terrible in Surrey. There’s too many unavoidable bumps in the road that causes the Supe to bounce around and scrape the diffuser
  3. The pulley moves around 2mm each side but straightens up when the throttle is opened. Is this really nothing to be concerned with? I wish I had the tools/facilities to be taking the Supe apart, unfortunately I don’t so it will have to go to a garage to get it sorted and might as well get it all addressed at the same time
  4. Excuse the slow reply, but thanks for the responses, on closer inspection one of my pipes was cracked and the pulley is a little wobbly so I am going to replace those and see how we get on. Going to go with the Whifbitz pulley as I figure they would only stock parts they would use themselves so it must be half decent. I’m not sure how I missed it in the first place, need to improve my search skills!
  5. I don’t consider my Supra too low but some of the roads round here see me scraping mine all the time, especially when putting my foot down. How do you cope, is it normal and a case of put up or shut up, or would it be better to stiffen up the suspension or something else? Shameless attention pic to show height of Supe
  6. Cheers rider, that link looks very cheap as I was told the pump is around £700 from Toyota! I wonder if it is missing anything Looks like the issue is a combo of a cracked pipe the pump as the pulley has play in it
  7. Cheers Dunk, I’m booked in tomorrow so I’ll see how it goes. Ideally I’d like to avoid ebay, don’t really want to take the risk of fakes (‘replicas’) with Supra parts. The Amazon one ships in 1-3 months
  8. I’m hoping it is as simple as needing a fluid change, if not and I need to do something more drastic, are there any recommended brands of pumps or racks? I had the pump replaced a few years ago and if that has failed already with minimal miles I would like to ensure I get quality this time round - the garage last time said they struggled sourcing the pump which is concerning
  9. Thanks all, it’s good to know that is normal behaviour, certainly saved me a few £££ to get somebody to check the electrics
  10. I’ve had two Supra’s and both seemed to drain the battery quicker than I recall with previous cars I know usual suspects are radio and alarm, but is there anything else that commonly drains Supra batteries? Or do I need to adjust my thinking that three weeks without driving is enough to kill a battery in any car? * It is not often the Supra is left stationary for this long!
  11. Thank you all for the replies, I got a bit lazy and only just got round to putting some effort in! New battery in and below was the fix. Fired up the same lumpy way, pulled out the road and it felt like it had a bit more give in it this time. Put my foot down, loud bang, stutter, then release! Just went on a 15/20 minute trouble free drive, how I’ve missed that!
  12. Hadn’t considered that as I didn’t have any warning lights, just watched a clip on YouTube and will pinch a paper clip from work and give it a go tomorrow, thanks
  13. My Supra was running fine before my battery died after 3-4 weeks of not using it. After recharging the battery it started fine but it is now driving what I would call lumpy (slight vibration through car, exhaust and engine). The power has been massively restricted so maybe in limp mode and seemed like it was close to stalling (auto). I assume this is not running on all cylinders, distributor cap maybe? Spark plugs should be fine and changed within the last few thousand miles, max Is there anything that a technically minded, non mechanic, equipment lacking hopeful can/should check on his drive before I get it recovered to the nearest garage?
  14. This needs to happen, I recently read somewhere that the indicator/wiper stalks were the same as another Toyota model - first I’d ever heard about that in all my years of ownership
  15. The MKIV’s little brother? At least it’s wider I do like it and think it will look good with a few tweaks and BPU, but it is a bit too BMW for me and would love to see a manual option
  16. *Thread revival* How are you/others getting on with LED lights? I’ve been thinking for some time that my candle like headlights aren’t good enough. Have LED’s been passing MOT’s with the new regs and are they making a genuine difference to visibility and longevity? Mine seem good on a dark road, introduce street lighting or another car and it’s like my lights aren’t even on

  18. Legends, thank you! I need to get sorting through some pics, what is the cut off dates for entries?
  19. For exhaust clearance, avoid the Blitz Nur Spec as it hangs really low. I find my HKS Carbon Ti sits a lot better but is not immune from the odd scrape over a speed bump - although, my Supra is lowered a little
  20. If we don’t do one it looks like we can get one from here - personally I’d rather put the money back in to the club https://wheels-fitment.com/calendar/information
  21. If it shows again, try using private browsing. It will not load any cached page data and should not load that message either (unless there is something else on your computer) I’d also recommend running Malwarebytes to scan your computer and help clear any potential threats
