I haven’t heard back from MK4gaz, is there anyone else recommended before I go outside the club?

Group buy?

Thanks guys, good shout on checking the cars with OEM blue needles, didn't think of that. I had a google for gauges with blue needles, I just have no idea with brands, don't want to buy a lemon and put the engine at risk when I eventually turn up the performance

I give you this link with the disclaimer that I am not responsible for you spending funds reserved for Supra mods! https://ig-model.online/ They are sold out of the 1/18 scale so I bought mine off ebay. I've not seen the other scales, but I am really impressed with the detail and quality of mine

There was a post on here with everyone’s Supra models but it must have been archived as I couldn’t find it. I wanted to show this off that I got the other week. The attention to detail is spot on even down to the interior, really pleased with it

I always have an eye out for a black carpet at the right price, so I’m in for a group buy on something decent. Mine is dyed and fading, constantly dying it is not something I really want to do

Cheers mate, will reach out to him

Hi Mr G, They are Stu’s indeed, he sent me a few examples and I’m undecided what style and colour to go for and have the gauges match. I guess I should check in with him about the gauges too

I’m looking to upgrade my speedo cluster to something like the below and would like gauges to match. Can anyone recommend any brand/set of AFR, EGT and boost gauges with blue needles or how ‘easy’ is it to replace needles in gauges?

I don’t have them but they were moulded from my genuine OEM skirts so they should be a good fit (same with the spats)

Great timing on this, I’ve been looking at mine thinking I should make the most of the lockdown and freshen them up A few questions it would be good to see you cover (as I haven’t yet found them in my searches) - sand down the inserts before painting? (If chrome is flaking) - if so, what grit/prep? - what sealant is recommended to seal the headlight units? - what do you suggest to bond your chrome rings to the insert? - subjective, but any recommendation on (matte) high temp proof paint?

Watching this thread with interest as I am on the fence about getting the scoop. Are there any complete kits around? I haven’t exhaustively searched but from what I’ve seen I haven’t found anything which isn’t just a cheap glued on scoop

One of the best sounding exhausts around in my opinion. The Nur Spec-R sounds aggressive and was designed to meet the noise limits of the Nurburgring, however, there is the (unused) bung to quieten the exhaust for stricter track day noise limits - or quieter neighbourhoods. I would love to keep hold of it, but my wife is not so keen and it has sat around for a few years so it does need to go to someone who will appreciate it (exhaust, not wife) This is the turbo version (also fits NA) which has a straighter pipe which hangs a little lower and means there is a flat spot on the first muffler, call this tailored or pre-fit! The rear muffler has a few scrapes on the bottom, but nothing visible when fitted. The exhaust will need a rotary polish to restore the shine and remove some of the tar spots I feel the owners club members should get first shot at parts so this is advertised on here only at £350. There isn't much on here to benchmark the price so let me know if you feel I am off the mark Local collection from Hampton Court area is preferred, I am also happy to travel a sensible distance to exchange - obviously once we are out of lockdown. Let me know any questions you have or if you want more pictures, thanks

Does anybody on here offer the service? I watched a tutorial on doing it and thought I should leave it to somebody who knows what they are doing Edit: closer to Surrey the better so I don’t have to post parts
-
Congratulations on the purchase! Before replacing the bolts, park on a flat surface remove the roof and reseat it (if you haven’t already). You’ll be surprised how much that helps with creaks and loose bolts

I agree with Frank, I emailed Toyota UK a few years back (at least 10 in fairness) asking for more details about the Aerotop spec etc and they said they don’t know check the internet and owners clubs
-
Fair point as there’s even a USDM Spec in the list, could put a count at the beginning of the post?

Aerotop register in members section

If the sea is going to dry up would you buy a boat?
charlton replied to herbiemercman's topic in Supra Chat
Petrol will still be produced for the rest of the world so it will still be available somewhere, albeit more expensive. If my Supra survives another 15/20 years and converting to electric becomes a viable option I will strongly consider it -
Thinking long term goals for the Supe, does anyone have a ballpark figure for fitting a Ridox wide arch kit either blended or riveted?
