  1. Good shout, I didn't think of that I've had the seats out and gave it a go but the standard bolts are too short to go through the frames and into the floor. I just want to make sure it's done right too as I don't want to find out the hard way that I put the seats in wrong! I like to give things a go too, I'm replacing the heater matrix at the moment in my NA - admittedly it has taken me several months but I'm almost there!!
  2. I've had a pair of bucket seats and harnesses sitting in my room for about a year waiting to go in to the Supra and its about time I pulled my finger out and got them in the Supe... I have some custom seat frames from johnd-mkiv that need drilling but will need some longer bolts to bolt them to the floor. As I don't have a steady hand, tools or the bolts can anyone recommend a garage around Guildford/Woking to do this or does anyone fancy some beer (money) for doing it?
  3. Mine was a pain to unplug, felt like you had to break it to remove it - 9 months later I've not long got the matrix out
  4. Been looking for an excuse to post this somewhere, so why not now!? not sure how it looks on a computer but looks cool on my phone
  5. No willy waving at all, just means that those not chosen were not 'cheap' enough
  6. Another misleading thread title for Ed...

    New toy...

Haha, ok, ok - it's more stock looking than my last Supra in my avatar! The body with the exception of the spoiler is all OEM, just shows you don't need to do much to make it look better Yours still looks good and clean though

    New toy...

    Still essentially stock-ish

    New toy...

Stock and silver looks great - definitely not an old mans car
  10. The inserts on mine could do with a touch up in places, I'm out the country at the moment but will grab a pic when I'm back to show you what I mean
  11. Are you able to refurb UK's so they keep the same colour insert and not make them like the facelifts?

    Car Value

My GZ aero is valued at £10k with Sky, would take more than that for me to sell it though
  13. Steve Manley is still at Inchcape Oxford, I spoke to him last week and got some very good prices
  14. Ignore the amount of attachments at the bottom, iPad was playing games with me!
  15. Depending on the dates I'm up for the this! I won some bucket seats from Japanese Performance about a year ago and still haven't got them in my Supra so it will be a good excuse to include mine (I have changed Supras since I won them!) Mine is a GZ TT BPU Aerotop which has just been freshly resprayed by DAW thread here Spec list here - there's some engine bay bling too Excuse the crap phone pics, it's all I have
  16. I have, swapping the heater matrix and then it's up for sale
  17. I'm not really too sure what price I would put on it, the kit isn't factory fitted so that may affect things? Mine is agreed at £10k but it is an original GZ Aero that's just had a respray with a few other performance/style mods if that helps as a guide
  18. Painful... what's the best tool for getting the clips off? I seem to be getting nowhere with long nosed pliers Thanks David
  19. I'm currently half way through and can see the little blighter, I just need to remove the heater box to get to it but it appears to be stuck in the middle. Is it the pipes that are causing it to stick so it needs a good yank or is there a nut/bolt that's not mentioned and I need to remove? Going by the guide I've got everything, except the pipe on the left which would be showing in the below pic
  20. What is the best way to launch an auto for a quick get away? A manual you would raise the revs a little and release the clutch and then you could nip out, still new to the auto box and not quite worked this out yet
  21. I've had the battery disconnected on the Supra for a few months while I've removed the dash to replace the heater matrix. I connected it all back together and then tried to disarm the alarm with the remote. When disarming it is like the Supra is trying to start, it is left in gear so the handbrake doesn't seize. If left alone with the battery connected the alarm goes off and the hazards flash as you would expect. The alarm is a Laserline 996v3, anyone know of any similar issues or is it going to be something like a dodgy earth? http://youtu.be/CMh3hK05l9Y
  22. The square ends would be for the top corner of the windows whereas the pointed corners would be nearer the wing mirrors, right?
  23. Don't wait for me, I'll catch you up - as long as the traffic is good!!
  24. Running a little late too - shouldn't be too much after 2, go on if you want?
