  1. Take that figure with a pinch of salt as 280hp was a gentlemans agreement between the Japanese manufacturers. The Supra is well known for the turbo models showing over that on the dyno straight from the factory
  2. the auto is a really nice drive although I do have plans on converting so I'd like to try a 6 speed as a comparison at some point
  3. You most certainly are the devil, so much temptation!

    Hello!

We're not allowed to talk about that trader on here, which should make alarm bells ring There can't be many traders in High Wycombe that we are allowed to discuss on here I'd check the policy with Elephant as it's probably for a UK spec and won't cover modifications like for like
  5. Agreed, I order a lot of Aerotop seals from him last year and he got them too me no problems - really helpful
  6. My response to the 50/50 comment would of been to question why she thought so considering you were stationary (with your hand brake on?) - may have got her to slip up in her story
  7. Are you saying we should ship our cars there or just attend? Jurgen - what can you do I've always wanted to go and was considering going this year or DB v2 - depending on funds after my wedding
  8. Of course I read the description, although, I couldn't see where it said where or how it was purchased so it could of been a cheap knock off from the internet. I bought a pair of Ray Bans in Thailand for a few pounds, they must have been real because the guy said so and it says Ray Ban on the lenses. Known and reputable brands have spent a lot of money in R&D into their products for a reason, hence their price. Whereas cheap unknown eBay kits are knocked up in China with no testing for minimal cost and maximum profit. I really hope we don't see a blown engine/turbo post from you. As other members have said, these are cars you shouldn't really be cutting corners with and going for cheap. Just trying to look out for a fellow member that's all...
  9. Interesting... The day before my birthday, I know what I'll be asking for
  10. This makes the replica more interesting for me, I have custom brackets that have left the OEM holes showing - bolting through the carpet is an easy job! Would you be able to make the replica carpet lighter than the original, or is it too early to say?
  11. Difference in costs is key on this one, if there's not much difference then OEM may be better. Would the replica offer any benefits such as being lighter? Or for those who have changed seats/mounts, allowing us to have a fully carpeted option to cover holes for OEM bolts?
  12. You could get them from Paul... http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/goodridge-3218.html
  13. I'm interested depending on price too, why are there so many things to buy straight after Christmas!?!

  17. Misleading thread title.... I've owned both and there's some noticeable flex with the chassis, I've added a front and rear strut brace and its made a noticeable difference to the flex. Although I'm not one for hacking in to the twisties, more for a straight line and a spirited drive I wouldn't complain about any flex, the braces really do stiffen it up well With the roof on I've not noticed a difference between the two, except maybe getting a little wet - the seals will most likely need replacing due to their age!
