  1. Oh no, not enough interest this year or busy schedules? Any suggestions for alternatives before my wife chooses one
  2. Ahhh good point, I did not think of that. There goes my hopes of owning it again one day!!
  3. Anyone know what happened to it? Allegedly it was sold but it’s not been taxed since I sold it
  4. Can we use this thread to put our names down for one? Charlton x1
  5. Sold last Saturday For those trying to benchmark prices on what Supra’s are really selling for, I sold at £25k without parts. I wanted to tidy up a few things and do a proper sales push but I broke my leg last year so I couldn’t do what I needed and I have just welcomed my son in to the world so I settled for the quick/easy sale. If anyone was genuinely interested in my beauty, you can now pick it up for the bargain price of £35k on Facebook, ouch If you’re selling your Supe, dont waste your time on Facebook as it is full of dreamers who say £10k cash, people who say it’s too cheap or those who publicly slate it and then DM you enquiring about it
  6. it’s been a long hard decision as it’s been my life for the last 15 years. Thank you for the support and I will do my best to be back!
  7. Thank you, yeah that was me, I’ve still got you in mind and will let the buyer know you’re interested too if they wanted to sell them on
  8. Cheers mate, similar situation here trying to be sensible. I’ll do my best to get back in a Supra as quickly as possible, unless we see 6 figure prices!
  9. It has not been an easy decision to make and not one I’ve taken lightly, but now is the right time for me to sell my Supra. I don’t have the time nor facilities to maintain a classic car, if I had a garage it'd be a different story This Supra has been part of the club since it was imported in 2005 by Newera Imports, where it was first owned by 'Mr Lover' until I purchased it from him in 2013. It has been on Dragonball 2012 with the livery and in a few of our calendars without the livery so some of you may recognise it or have even met it It is HPI clear, although it does have a flag on mileage. This is because the first MOT on import (and failure) was correctly logged in KM and the (successful) retest as miles. After this it was converted to register and display in miles. This should be clear when checking the MOT history The Supra has been well maintained with OEM or better parts, it was with SRD last week to fix an issue and have a fluid/filter change. All roof seals have been replaced, along with the power steering system, various seals and hoses over the years as documented by Whifbitz & SRD invoices. It is rust free and the underside is clean Spec list - MOT until 08/02/22 - 93,072 Miles (this will go up as I still get some smiles per gallon) - Cambelt replaced 24/03/17, ~88,000 miles - Turbo technics large steel hybrid turbos (rated to 1.6bar/23psi) (Purchased from Drift Bear) - HKS S-Type Front Mount Intercooler - Thor FCC - Whifbitz Alloy radiator - Racelogic Traction Control, control hidden in arm rest - Greddy Spec II boost controller - HKS Carbon Ti cat back exhaust - K&N air filter - Whifbitz decats - Lowered on Tien springs - 19' polished rims with black centres, 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rears (outers need polishing due to markings) - Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres - Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines - Cusco front strut brace (no logo, bought from here as Cusco from a member) - Whifbitz rear strut brace - Corbeau Sprint fixed back bucket seats - Custom low fixed seat mounts (Purchased from johnd-mkiv) - Luke harnesses - Shine Auto rear diffuser - OEM replica skirts - OEM spats - Abflug Type 1 rear boot spoiler - UK glass headlights - Indicators relocated to headlights in place of sidelight - Blue LED dash conversion - Clear side indicators - Facelift rear lights with clear indicator conversion - Debadged front and rear - Rear wiper removed - Aerial smoothed - Carbon front numberplate holder - Whifbitz front lip - Clifford alarm, 2 key fobs - Locking wheel nuts, 2 keys - 2 keys - TRD fuel cap - Neo chrome radiator brackets - TRD radiator cap - Carbon bonnet gas struts with SRD brackets - Full respray by Darnley Autoworks in 2013 (Rob Mitchel’s garage) - Large folder of invoices of work undertaken Also included, as I wont be able to handle the pain of having them around reminding me of what was, if you don’t want them you can always sell them and make some money back - Active front spoiler - OEM Leather front seats - HKS Carbon Ti exhaust - 4 & 2 pot brake setup (pads, discs, callipers) - OEM turbos - 2x 16” OEM alloys - Carbon skinned leather steering wheel (just needs airbag) - OEM plastic sideskirts (used by Whifbitz to make copies ) - OEM air filter - OEM from numberplate holder - Whifbitz 1.3 bar radiator cap - Toyota maintenance manuals (bought from a group buy on here) - A pillar seal - Carbon gas bonnet struts - SRD radiator, had a leak so it will need a weld Bad points - Slight smoke on start up if not used in a while. Lee @ SRD has seen this and said it is the valve stem seals which is common, nothing to worry about and there’s no point getting it seen to as it is a long job and makes no difference to the performance/reliability of the engine - Chrome flaking on headlights, I have Noz’s chrome rings ‘somewhere safe’ for when they are refurbed. I need to find exactly where they’ve been hidden! - Dash cluster and HVAC LED’s flicker, most likely needs resoldering. HVAC has a broken bracket which needs bonding back together - Steering wheel has seen better days thanks to a roof leak dripping on it, carbon skinned MKIII Yaris replacement is included - 63248-14040 – Bracket, removable roof drain, front LH is missing, which I am currently trying to source - Polished parts of alloys need a polish/refurb to remove crazing I’m truly sad to be in this position as Supra’s have been my life since I first saw one in the 90’s, I romanticised that I would never sell this Supra and that I’d be driving around in this very one when I’m 70. I'm asking for £35K inlcuding all the parts/spares, excluding numberplate. Feel free to make an offer, DM or reply on here if you want more pictures or have any questions etc Thanks, Lee (I have included some older pics with the Blitz sideksirts and active lip, the rest are recent. I'm still used to the restrictive old forum with small upload allowances so higher res pictures are available if needed. Excuse the images that need rotating, the are the right way round when uploading so not sure why they are off on here)
  10. This has really hit home, I wish I had a garage or place to store the Supra while I work on it
  11. I was thinking it will need custom printing or something, good shout on the guy in Italy, I follow him so will drop him a message
  12. I think I’m starting to fall out of love with my Supra with more discontinued parts and increasing prices! Does anyone have some good places to source discontinued parts, new or used, oem or reproduced, near or far? I'm after 63248-14040 - Bracket, removable roof drain, front LH. I can’t imagine many will have one of these lying around spare! Any help gratefully received!
