  3. i know.. for now, i'll put diesel oil in it.. that'll cure it!! :D Might import a Rolled TT6spd too. that'll help me out a bit

Im inbetween 2 minds of keeping or selling If i sell it, then i'll get the stem seals done - hoping it'll solve the smoking, and a few other cosmetic changes or if i keep, it's getting a respray with new skirts, overfender and new rear. along with an engine build good for 800hp, but run it around 500-600 with a 6spd conversion,. if i do all the bits then it'll be a 1-2yr project
  6. No point in me taking the head off tomorrow then no? Engine out and rebuild for single turbo it'll be then!
  7. Just to add... Just drove 40miles to my mums, no smoke... as soon as i pulled up outside her's. let it tickover for a bit. after 2-3seconds BAM SMOKEY JOE! Blipped the throttle and i looked like a 007 Smoke Screen... It might come in handy with the Five-0

  10. Im sure you could regulate some Ail Pressure up the Oil feed into the Turbo's and listen out for some Hissing
  11. You shouldn't have a problem if your only going 10mm down/or up How wide are the wheels?
  12. Yeah, had a good read cheers bud! Best thing to do is either get the engine out or, take cams off and have a look... i'll sort something out at the weekend!!! I got a 2poster now, so it's all good!!
  13. But saying that, if your stem seals are well and trully gone, then it'll be like having no seals at all... And as i say, if my tubby's had gone then they'de be on the inlet side... and there's nothing
  14. They are basicly under the valve springs, on the head, you need to remove the cams etc to see them @ DODGYDODDS no mate it doesn't
  15. Turbo's seem to be ok.. yes they are noisier, only because i had to put an induction kit cos of IC pipework.... but they boost all the same, no smoke under boost. Did have an issue before with noise, but it turned out to be a weak vac hose joint, sorted that and it was ok. It'll smoke on Idle when warm, sometimes upton startup. And after a rev like in the vid. If the Turbo Seals have gone, will it trickle into the Inlet side too? i know a bit of oil is normal, in say the BOV, Is there a way of saying that they are gone without having to send them away, i cant be spending more on it if i want to sell.. but i cant sell it like this, i want it to be perfect and spot on for the next owner
  16. If they turn out to be turbo seals as well as stem seals, is there a way of repairing the turbo seals??

  18. It could well be bud, or rings!!! Depends how shagged they are tho... if they are truelly shot, they'll leak into chambers all the time

  21. I could do it all myself, but i never got the time and patience for my own cars!!! But i might be taking the engine out soon, and sending the car to the bodyshop, that's if i decide not too sell... BUT saying that, i cant sell it with nakerd stem seals! Was thinking of making a Compression Tool with a nakerd Compresion tester and gauge i got in work, and just compress the chamber, or use a rope we'll see how it goes
  22. Anyone recomend a garage for fitting a clutch in a 1996 Celica GT4 Will be travelling from north wales, so nowere to far! Been quoted £290 fitted, clutch supplied by customer, but that's in a local Back Street Garage He doesnt mind travelling to a GT4 Specialist Any Recomendations?
