I had this too.. drilled it all out and just used a nut and bolt, i think i was lucky with one of the lucky, easy to get to, bolts!

Im sure a rally nut will snap it off you My mate's got a Night Road Rally Spec 1.9 worth around £3500, yeah its got a cage and all the goodies, but surelly an imaculate standard form is worth more!!!
