    c'mon england

yes they do, but seeing as I'm in the Republic and I hate Northern Ireland more than England, then this is not much consolation to me:d anyway they're gonna get stuffed over in Spain and even if they win they need Sweded to lose to latvia

    c'mon england

seeing as Ireland are out - im going to be supporting the Croats tonight there is nothing as amusing as the fall out in the english press when the god given right to qualify for major finals doesn't quite materialise
  4. bought my 98 ...identical spec car for 9K amonth ago.....so I mujst have been doin good or else you are way overpriced
  5. http://www.dspeed.co.jp/aeroparts/supra.html would be interested but am in ireland - may look into costs for a courier to pick up ....
  6. for trying to convince someone to let you take advantage of them and lure someone out whose circumstances mean they mayneed to get rid of their pride and joy supra, for your BMW................you deserve 10 years of junk and abusive e-mail!!
  7. the filter, whole box and pipework ideally..... see my post below...have what looks like a Blitz SUS fitted to mine http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=131318&highlight=blitz+sus
  8. pic request : stock air filter VVTi
  9. i had a similar problem with my first supra so i took the cats out to make it louder and gave my neighbour the finger every morning
  10. good point! don't think so...... well i know that there are different specs for aftermarket ones for pre and post vvti so the stock ones must be different
  11. you have a pic of yours or of any stock air filter?
  12. Hi this is a Blitz SUS right?? read the threads re: stock being best but of the aftermarket I've seen it mostly suggested that this is one of the better ones? think I'll leave it on
  13. they look good.................postage costs to here though would be prohibitive though I'd say - hardly worth it might try to get my granny workin with her knitting needle:)
  14. i have stock seats on my 98 TT - would ideally like a full re-trim but combination of cost and finding anyone over here in Ireland to tackle that kind of stuff is putting me off that..... was thinking it would be nice to get supra logo stitched on to seats as they are ......anyone done this? or maybe can you get a patch with the logo on it and get that stitched on to seats? couldn't find anything on the search cheers, Seán
  15. i have a white supra and the thought had crossed my mind to paint the dash white..... I'm afraid having seen it on yours , I'm convinced to abandon the notion........ looks like you did a good paint job but it looks tacky to me in white - think i'll leave well enough alone sorry mate but you did ask anyway all that matters is you like it

    Naming a Supra

Of course!! I fill her up a couple of times a week and it costs me a fortune:d
  17. this is possibly the saddest question ever asked on here... My wife always has a name for her car, typical girlie thing to do...her current little Honda Civic, she calls 'Henrietta' for some reason....a bit sad I've always thought especially when I'm asked to wash the bitch (Henrietta that is, not my wife!) on a saturday morning..... but as I was thinking about it earlier while looking out the window at my Supra (checking it was still there!)...I couldn't help but wonder what would be a good name for it........would have to be macho I guess, something like 'Butch' maybe.... anyone named their car - go on admit it;).....surely some of the ladies on here:p
  18. might be interested ina CW SMIC but it would be after christmas.......
  19. hi, cover missing off my drivers side fuse box......can't find a pic on here of VVTi (which has some differences to earlier models) fuse box cover with the fuse assignments..... could someone take a pic of theirs if possible? Cheers, Seán
  20. sorry should have mentioned I don't have the cover - though if you have seen some of my previous posts then it would have been a fair assumption that I could be that stupid;) anyway I understand the VVTI fuse layout is different - so looking for a diagram/pic of driver footwell fuse box cover for 98 TT TIP VVTI thanks, Seán
  21. anyone got a fuse layout for VVTI??
  22. thanks - i'll whip out the lights then
  23. was planning on removing active spoiler to paint it but instaed just took off stock lower lip for painting and i think this gives enough access to active spoiler lip to paint that in place and save me the hassle of taking it off and on again..... then I want to wire up manual control to the spoiler so will just need access to the active spoiler motor plug where is best point of attack to access this plug? from underneath or from above by removing driver side headlamp assembly? previous owner has installed HID lights and the various electronic componenets from them are mounted in the way of getting the headlamps out so it would be a hassle so wanted to know if I need to do that or can access the active spoiler motor somehow from underneath car? cheers for any help
  24. have looked at all the threads and links on this and have about 5 different versions of how to do it in my head so sorry for repetition:search: as best i understand - shouldn't even need to raise car - 5 easily accesible bolts in a row underneath on undertray - pull back headlights both sides and underneath there is bolts attaching spoiler bracket to chassis (3 on one side, 2 on the other??) - detach motor connector ( this is accesible from underneath or above?) - thats it - it should come away have I got it right? thanks for any help btw...am takin it off to paint it so it won't be for sale
