Yeah I thought this was very specifically not allowed. Can't risk feeding back power from the house onto the grid in the event of outages. I certainly couldn't find any systems with this functionality a couple of years or so ago when I was looking into it.

Are you running a large scale cannabis farm? Those lights must use a lot of electricity.

Our heating is set to 15 over night, 21 during the day. We have a Tado thermostat and switches off if I leave the house automatically. If it produces heat, or cools, it uses a lot of electricity (so heaters, freezers, etc.). Don't worry too much about other devices on standby, anything in the last decade or so won't use very much just on standby. You're probably talking a couple of quid a year. There's been a lot of scaremongering articles lately about electricity usage on stand-by, but they get the figures wrong by a factor of 10 or more. Devices will use a few more watts if they maintain a network connection to check for updates etc. (Games consoles, smart TV's etc.) but it's not a lot, and there should be options to turn that off. Replaced the seals on our Windows last year, that made a big difference to heating, they were quite drafty! Our combined bill just went up to £175 a month, two bedroom house, two fish tanks, two freezers, two home servers, lots of smart home devices on all the time.

E92 here. Maintenance costs haven't been bad. I've had throttle actuators go, but now they've been replaced should last the life of the car. Rod bearing issues are largely overstated, but is an issue if the car has been ragged when not warmed up. It's an easy check and preventative maintenance replace if you're concerned. Other than that general expected stuff, discs and pads, front drop links, all reasonably cheap really. I get around 20mpg, which is around the same I was getting in the Supra. I still find it a really nice car to drive, doesn't have the low down torque of the Supra, but rev it out and it just grips and goes. Still have no intentions of getting rid of it. There are indications prices are on the up for them, so get one now.

Same here, keep thinking I'd like to get back into it and see what's changed, but seldom have the time. I even have a HOTAS setup for it.
