  1. No I mean the coil pack CONNECTOR pins....this will track any closed circuit (short) back into the ignitor or whereever the return from the coil pack feed ends up..wouldn't it be nice to have a wiring diagram handy.......
  2. How do you remember that lot when you are down halfrauds choosing your oil?.....
  3. Strangely enough james, this is a phenomena I have been noticing a lot recently. I thought it was just in Bristol that people just seem to drive straight at you and barge their way through really small gaps. It happens just about every time I go into town or down a country lane.. Must be something wrong with the food everyone is eating these days (perhaps it makes you aggressive).... Glad you're OK mate......
  4. I'll talk to my bank tomorrow....
  5. It's spelt D-O-N-U-T..... (and you can take that any way you want)....
  6. They are over £25k with the options...I quite like them though..
  7. You could get a Lexus IS250 if your boss would stretch to $21,700..... Tell him about reliability, customer satisfaction, residual values etc. etc...
  8. Ask yourself why a US buyer would pay English prices (which are twice as much as the equivalent US prices) PLUS pay for shipping and the probable import taxes, to get a car that is in a rust producing country, when he can get a rust free example just across the water in california (and have plenty of change left ove with which to convert it to right hand drive if he wishes)?.... SCAM...........
  9. I can think of a few other manufacturers driveshafts that would have given up the ghost long before then with 600bhp being bounced through them....
  10. OK Joe, come clean, what did Tiff ever do to you?.....
  11. Wow, that's handy b'have... While you're here, could you translate the Soarer TT workshop manual for me?.......
  12. Any trader who threatens to shut this site down is attacking EVERY member here and trying to deny us ALL the ability to communicate, obtain information, socialise (?) etc, etc... That being the case, I think that to alienate thousands of performance car owners in this fashion is juvinile and petty, especially if action was not taken to rectify the situation amicably (we ARE a high-spending customer base after all) prior to threatening the legal action.. There are a few old sayings that apply here "It takes months to get a good customer, but only seconds to lose one"..... "A satisfied customer will tell approximately three people. A dissatisfied customer will tell ten people!....work the math out for yourselves traders!... "Never shit on your own doorstep, as the smell will linger forever"....
  13. If I say something libellous about someone/trader on here, surely it is me who has committed the offence and not the forum, who is simply stating an (my) opinion?......

  15. Usually you have the function in your photo program. If you cant find it easily, open the photo and the go "Save As" and you should get two windows at the bottom, one with the filename and the one below usually gives you the options of which format you want to save it in..
  16. TT What voltage were you getting from the feeds to the coil packs?.. Just out of interest, have you taken a resistance reading between the LT cicuits, i.e feed and return (bridge the coil connector pins with the ohmmeter)?...it should be max resistance during the non-firing period. My logic is nagging me that you have an LT circuit breakdown on the return/earthing side as that would be the only part of the circuit that is common to all coilpacks.....someone correct me if I am wrong here..
  17. Digsy, you missed a great show. The continuity was brilliant, no waiting between displays, it was a seamless display for three hours. As each aircraft was doing its final break for landing after its display the next displayer was entering the arena above it. The timing was awesome... And the finale was over 40 WWII aircraft in formation...awesome... The UK hanger will be open by the end of summer (there is another show then)..
  18. These guys: http://www.realaero.com/index.htm
  19. Yes, great plane..shame about the undercarriage!...... Out of the 36,000 produced, 5% of them crashed on take-off or landing... A 109 engine was sent to RR three or four years ago (think it was Black Six's engine) and they said, "Whatever you do, don't blow up this engine as we can't work to these tolerances to repair it..." And 60 years ago they made 36k of them...
  20. Any news? Problem solved or not?...
  21. Agree on the Sea Fury. That and the Tempest were the max development for a piston aircraft. Rad a report of a guy who had well over 500mph in a shallow dive...Shame we didn't get them earlier..

    MACRO=Rubbish

Looks like they buy up all the defective items then.... Use Machine Mart mate...
  23. No disrespect for Muffleman and Underworld, but Dreamweaver is a nightmare for someone who doesn't know what they are doing... I've found WebPlus 9 from SERIF much easier to use. You will have to take into considration the optimisation though, so all browsers can view your website. Have a word with Stealthhosts on this forum....
  24. Faster than the flatbed truck could ever go.......
