Depending on which EU country it is though. It is bit of a minefield just getting the right information, but some will allow you to apply for a residence permit if you are quick, or if you had one pre-brexit to have this switched to the a new post brexit "third country" status. Just because you have residency in another country, doesn't automatically mean you have to port across your access to the UK health system, or state pension too, that's a separate process. I applied for and had residency granted in an Eu country in May 2019 which was valid originally for 5 years as I saw this coming. I went back last month for the first time in 15 months because I had until the end of June to apply for the new post brexit version as my existing permit expiry had been brought forward to December 31st 2021. Made the application and provided the docs, had the interview, but needed to wait 30 days this time for a decision. Apparently this was due to the need for a check to be made with interpol, something that wasn't required when I made the last application due to being a Eu citizen then. Anyhow, 30 days later, and I get the news that my new permit for 5 years is waiting for me to collect. Hardest and certainly the most expensive thing, was getting back into the UK. Edit. Just seen the other thread and see it's Spain you were hoping for. Too late I think, but things may change in the future.

Thanks, you're the second person to suggest Burna. If I cant find an original, I will ask him. Cheers.

Long shot I know, looking for a centre cap for these old school rims.

All sorted, you should have them today or tomorrow. I have a couple of sets left if anyone else is interested.

Bump, still have these for sale. Rider's post has some valid points in that the old plugs do crumble and bits can drop, but nothing most people couldn't cope with so long as they are aware. However, most of the ones I have seen not only have damaged plugs, but the insulation on the cables themselves tends to be scorched, brittle and even cracked in the worse cases, exposing the conductors. If there's been enough heat to damage the plug, it's obvious the 25 year old cables close to the plug have also been exposed to heat. Rider can do it his way and leave shite brittle cables in place, but personally I would recommend anyone replacing coilpack connectors to take a good look at the condition of the cables and unless near to pristine chop back past the inevitable heat damage. Ignitor packs for these are now getting a little scarce and I wouldn't want anyone to kill theirs by pissing around with shite insulation and exposed conductors.

I remember seeing this as a NA many many years ago, about a month after I bought my first Mkiv, looks great Jim! But burning question, do you still live in a windmill? -
Merry Christmas and lets hope for a better year in 2021.

Provisionally sold. Thanks.

Not really, I have seen them sliced up and used on GEs but by no means a straight fit.

Clear cam cover in as new condition. Sure it will polish up nice but dusty with packing marks from where its been in the box for 6+ years and moved many times. Can't really get any close up high detail pics. Priced accordingly, £20 plus postage at cost, or collect from East Northants by arrangement. PM me if interested thanks.

Have been having a clear out and found some brand new coil pack connectors. I have so far found a couple of full sets. These are good quality and have decent length tails already fitted and you just need to cut back, join, solder and heatshrink. £15 for the set of 6 coil connectors, plus postage at cost, or can be collected by arrangement, East Northants. PM me if interested, thanks. Have also found some MAP sensor connectors, injector connectors, only 3 of these so far though, but will list those seperately sometime soon once have seen what I have exactly.

He's had a few over the years Mike.

Probably worth mentioning for the old timers on here, that this car was originally Adam's (Hacking and bashing) and then James (Turtleshead) car.

I have a feeling I have been caught out with this before, but so long ago I cant remember exactly why or the events leading to it. But what I can remember, is that relay No.1 relies on the AC and coolant sensor being NC until the fan is required, this is done as a sort of failsafe, so if the sensors fail or become disconnected the fan kicks in as a safety precaution. Looking at the diagram relay 2 is energised when ignition is on.

So far so good, nice work and thank you.

It did go ahead yes, good event and nice mix of cars. Thanks to those involved. But, how long for a coffee???? -
I ended up using a really chunky rectifier plate with a straight arm from an alternator rebuild kit intended for a 1UZ , chopped it and joined it to a suitably thick cable inside the alternator, lots of soldering and heatshrink and then brought it out the alternator housing via a chunky grommet. I then soldered a chunky ring connector to the end of that and joined it to the stock connector with a nut and bolt, with the join housed in a small insulating plastic box. Was a bit of work, but needed the car back up and running quickly and had everything to hand and didn't want to wait for a rectifier to come from the states. Was only meant to be a stop gap until I could find a plate with the crooked arm, but like most of these things, its been in ever since and still working. Have some photos somewhere, if I come across them will post.
