  1. Ah, erm, ahem that must have been my gf who put that cd in there.... wasn't me honest I'll get me coat............. Glad your enjoying it mate.
  2. Gone Collected tonight by the new owner razza. Sounded lovely . I have never heard my supra being driven by anyone else before. Recommend everyone gets a mate to drive their car round the block so you can fully appreciate how awesome they sound. Look after her mate & hope you get more use out of her than I did.
  3. Provisionally sold subject to an inspection. Kinda feel a bit gutted , know how Si felt when I bought in now. Gone to a new club member though who will announce his new arrival soon hopefully:)
  4. Due to lack of time/other commitments I am reluctantly offering for sale my superb 96 facelift TT supra:( . I have only owned her for 4 months and covered less than 1000 miles in that time. It just seems such a waste to have the car sat in the garage or to trundle 5 miles to work in nose to tail traffic. All I’ve done during my ownership is to fit a new battery, have the aircon re-gassed, tax & mot + a front Chris Wilson decat pipe. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=56821 96 Facelift Auto 90k miles Green Reg as a W Private Reg W*SUP Dark Windows Custom Green/Black Leather Seats and armrests with Silver piping/Supra logos DVD Alpine Screen with DVD Sat Nav TV Tuner Pioneer Chrome Amps Pioneer Subwoofer and speakers (v loud) Snooper S6Neo radar detector UK Glass Lamps HID low beams BPU Chip/Induction/Steel Hoses/Fuel pump upgrade HKS Electronic Valve Controller HKS Turbo timer Stock Turbos at 1.0/1.2 bar adjustable. 5. couple of nice looking bikes in the garage also, they yours?
  6. Yeah its greenpeaces old car, absolutely superb motor I live in Maidenhead but the nearest kwikfit was slough. I thought by the time I bought axles stands & tools from halfords then snapped all the studs off it would be so much easier for someone else to do the job! Big thanks also to Mark Offord from the yellow pages who arrived within 20 minutes of me calling him & checked & regased my aircon for £45
  7. 13 months mot last week, a serious cleaning session, a CW front decat pipe fitted this morning by the boys of kwikfit slough for £30 & my aircon recharged a few minutes ago. Its a great day!! http://www.netdom.co.uk/pics/100_0283.JPG
  8. the hks evc iv on mine drops the boost to stock levels if it reaches the preset warning, set to 1 bar, warning was also 1 bar so when it exceeded this slightly it beeped away and cut boost, not sure what 'stock boost' is though. Same happens when it is set to high 1.2 bar with the warning at 1.2, if it slightly exceeds this then the boost will drop. Sound like the problem you have?
  9. Could be the batterys going. Mine struggled to start if left for a few days, starter motor running really slow. New battery from halfords sorted it, only about £55 pounds.
  10. Know you already have your paint but I got mine from http://www.paints4u.com/ superb colour match on my green jspec
  11. Hi, I have a quick question. I have recently bought a TT and whilst checking it over the other night for the mot on monday I have discovered that it has been converted to ttc. The car also has a hks evc mk4 valve controller fitted, I vaguely remember reading somewhere these dont like to run with sequential turbo's? The previous owner was unaware of this modification, the car runs extremely well as it is but I kind of think I would like to swap it back to sequential. Any suggestions, swap it back & risk messing it up or just keep driving it as is?

    Battery.....

I got one yesterday from halfords, a hbc005(?) i think, should be £55. I stupidly decided to pay them £4.99 to fit it. First spotty teenager hadn't been trained in battery fitting(!) so they had to get the better qualified one out. It took 4 of them 20 minutes & I was getting nervous watching them with spanners around my car. Actually the correct batery didn't fit so i'm glad I didnt buy it and get it home before finding that out. They found a match based on the old battery(was lower & bigger) cost £11 more though.
  13. I work in an IT department so see quite a few pass through. Its been the same with compaq/hp for years, either the screen snaps off the hinges or the backlight fails! Good luck with whatever you choose.
  14. HP's the backligher fails (i have 10+ units with a failed backlighter). Tosh'es - dont like them, have had 2 fail out of 4 with system board problems. Get an ibm think pad, its the only laptop I would recommend( however I do have an acer at home!)
  15. Hey thats my new car. Stop painting it pink:no: We all know green is the best colour.......
